Moving into the laser of the incorrect answer will result in taking damage. The difficulty of the math depends on your difficulty. The [[NOISZ_(Game)/Titles|title "Math Genius"]] increases the difficulty of the math to that of the song's Overload difficulty.

==Strategies==
The math questions throughout the song require the ability to do math quickly on the fly. On the easier difficulties, the questions are basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with only up to three digits. However, harder difficulties require knowledge of exponential functions, square roots, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, all done within a quick time frame. Make sure your knowledge of these mathematical concepts is robust if you want to get an SS-Rank.

Alternatively, the questions requiring more technical knowledge pull from a set pool. It is possible to memorize the answers, and this is another route toward avoiding damage on Hard and Overload.
