[[Shion Nekoda|Shion]] expresses frustration at [[STΔRLIVHT]] being on hiatus, stating that there's no point to "crushing them flat if they're not even trying", and so she decides to send tickets to [[Sumire Hitori|Sumire]]'s house as a form of a "get well" present.

Later that night, on the way back from practice, [[Sera Hoshikawa|Sera]] heads back home to hear her mother [[Setsuna Hoshikawa|Setsuna]] having a conversation with someone, and using conceptual time to sneak in and eavesdrop, she finds the other voice is [[Yashiro Nekoda]]. As she listens, Setsuna blackmails a nervous Yashiro using a "debt" he owes her; the knowledge that he'd been having affairs behind his wife's back while she was pregnant with Shion, and so, she strongarms him into headlining one of her club's opening nights.

Using conceptual time, Sera walks out of the house to re-enter in normal time, and Yashiro rushes out in a panic shortly afterwards. Setsuna retains an unbothered demeanour and moves the topic to dinner, ordering a weird-sounding pizza, having grown tired of fancy food.

Sera asks if Yashiro is her father, which Setsuna casually confirms, though she reminds Sera that shared genes aren't what matter, and refers to him as a "tool" of hers. In turn, Sera realizes [[Hakuno Nekoda|Hakuno]] and Shion are her sisters, though Setsuna tells Sera that she can decide what that means, and advises against dealing with Yashiro.

Days later, at the [[SUNRaiSE]] concert via the tickets sent to them, [[Grace Kamenashi|Grace]] advises Sera on how to tell Hakuno, and the show begins shortly afterwards, though a [[Noise Beast]] attacks soon afterwards. Hakuno attempts to confront it, but Sera notices her hesitation; not wanting her to lose her confidence again, she says she'll take care of it. Hakuno objects, saying Shion is her sister to protect, to which Sera reveals that she and Hakuno, along with Shion, are half sisters. She dispatches the Noise Beast.

Sera tells Hakuno about the conversation between her mother and Yashiro, to which Hakuno apologizes for having Yashiro as a father. Hakuno then tells Sera that, despite what has happened, Shion isn't a bad person, but is trapped by her circumstances, and suggests that Sera could help her break out of her conditioning. Grace suggests the three have a "sisters party", which Sera correctly surmises is an excuse to eat something nice. She agrees to it anyways, happy that while things change, much of it still stays the same.
