[[Beyond (NOISZ STΔRLIVHT)\|Beyond]] believed that if they could awaken as Sumire and Hitori at the same time, they could link together and become the greatest NOISZ user. Firebird agreed to participate in Beyond's experiments to try to awaken as both, wanting to see what a "complete" version of them would be like.
