After the events of [[NOISZ (Game)|NOISZ Ignition]]'s Story C, Stornel approaches the [[Main Character (NOISZ)|main character]] for help in preventing the disappearance of art. Already, no one had been able to compose for a couple of weeks, one occurrence referred to as [[the Silencing]]. Although his being a [[NOISZ Beast]] makes the main character initially wary, they go with Stornel.

Together, they head to the [[Antiphon]] building because the man-made portal in its basement is the only way to the [[World of Music]].

Stornel assists the main character as they make their way through the World of Music in order to stop [[Alpha]].

Before the main character enters [[the Void]], Stornel either fights them for control of [[The NOISZ#The Original NOISZ|the NOISZ]] (if options hostile to Stornel were selected) or asks the main character to absorb his soul stored within the NOISZ. Either way, the main character absorbs Stornel's soul and gains the ability of [[The NOISZ#Imprinting|imprinting]].

After defeating Alpha, the main character revives certain characters (depends on choices throughout the story campaign). Stornel's soul appears one last time to assist in fulfilling that wish. The main character speculates that the reason detaching from the NOISZ didn't kill them was that Stornel protected them.

=[[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT]]=
Stornel serves as [[Gaius Antiphon]]'s bodyguard. His first appearance is in [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/Chapter 2.IV|Chapter 2.IV]]. He blocks [[Sera Hoshikawa|Sera]]'s airsoft pellet from hitting Gaius.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/Chapter 4.III|Chapter 4.III]], Stornel confronts [[Beyond (NOISZ STΔRLIVHT)|"Beyond"]] and [[STΔRLIVHT]] in the [[Antiphon]] lab. He lets loose a dragon [[Noise Beast]], which Sera fights.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/Chapter 6.I|Chapter 6.I]], Stornel, under Gaius' orders, fights [[Hakuno Nekoda|Hakuno]] and [[Sumire Hitori|Sumire]]. Gaius takes the NOISZ from him after his defeat, causing him to fully die once again.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/Chapter 5.II (True Heroes)|Chapter 5.II]] of True Heroes, Stornel appears to help [[Sera Hoshikawa|Sera]] and Grace escape from a group of Gaius' artificial Noise Beasts. He reveals that he is able to regain some control of himself in Antiphon R&D, having planned for the current situation before his death. Stornel claims that STΔRLIVHT cannot defeat Gaius as they are now, but he knows of a way to ensure their victory, though Sera leaves with Grace before he can tell them.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/VS Prelude|VS Prelude]], Grace returns to Antiphon R&D at night, where Stornel awaits. Under Gaius's command, he is unable to help STΔRLIVHT directly, but he can tell them of a power they already have; the Final Burst. He confirms to Grace it is a power that requires the user to sacrifice their life, but Sera interrupts before he can teach it to Grace.

After Grace and Sera's duel, Grace goes with Stornel to learn the Final Burst while Sera returns home.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/VS Postlude|VS Postlude]], Stornel confirms the preparations to separate the human world from the World of Music are nearly complete. He does not object to Gaius' order to shut down the replica Noise Beasts, confirming he wants Gaius dead when asked. He then asks Gaius if he is also seeking death, to which Gaius says he simply wants Arisa to surpass him.

In [[NOISZ STΔRLIVHT/Story/Chapter 6.I (True Heroes)|Chapter 6.I]] of True Heroes, Stornel, under Gaius' orders, fights Hakuno and Sumire. Gaius tells Stornel to give him the NOISZ after his defeat, though Stornel warns him he'll never be able to remove it if he does. Gaius proceeds anyways, with Stornel remarking how wonderful it is he'll never see Gaius again before Gaius takes the NOISZ from him, causing him to fully die once again.
