Story

The story of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT begins with the player being prompted to listen to the beat of their heart, and calibrate input timings with the heart on the screen.

An unknown user is registered with a new NOISZ/RS, which asks them their wish. Their response is that they want to be a hero; the user is revealed to be Grace Kamenashi.

Grace opens her eyes to find a Noise Beast in front of her, and strengthening her resolve to protect her friends, the tutorial begins, teaching the player the mechanics of the game to a shortened version of First Star.

Grace dispatches the Noise Beast, and Beyond commends her on her potential, though Grace faints from exhaustion shortly afterwards to Sera's shock.

An unknown speaker comments on these events, stating the recollection was miscalibrated and "undershot", claiming the beginning was more normal then that. In the next scene, another unknown speaker muses on the nature of the idea of a "perfect" piece of music, and another speaker resolves to find it for them.

In the next scene Producer, formerly a new accountant at Antiphon who was suddenly promoted to producer, wakes up for her first day of work managing STΔRLIVHT, an idol group formed as part of Antiphon's new entertainment venture. She makes her way to the office, and meets the members of STΔRLIVHT, encountering Grace first; the player is given an opportunity to input the producer's name. Sera greets Producer shortly afterwards, followed by Hakuno, then Sumire.

Sera and Producer get off to a rocky start, with Sera gently asserting that she knows best for STΔRLIVHT, though the two come to an agreement eventually. Producer agrees to let the group manage their own practice schedules, and things go smoothly until their debut performance at the Budo Garden.
