Story

As Grace struggles against Sera's onslaught, Sera once again demands Grace show her why she would risk her life for her ideals. Grace, despite knowing she can do more, is afraid Sera will be hurt if she's too strong against her now or too weak for her in the future. She struggles with the thought of a hero showing how afraid they are, and finally remembers why she'd wanted to be a hero; to proclaim their victory and face the impossible odds, over and over again, until they claim victory. Her determination and ideals renewed, Grace promises to show Sera what heroes are truly capable of.

After the fight, Grace finds herself standing over Sera. Grace helps Sera up, telling her that while she doesn't believe she'll have to use the Final Burst, she's still going to learn it as insurance. Sera, knowing she can't stop Grace, asks her to come home when she's done, as she doesn't want to be alone. Grace agrees, and goes with Stornel to learn the Final Burst.

At home, Sera is crying alone in their apartment, terrified of what's ahead. Grace arrives, and Sera gets up to open the door for her. Grace silently holds Sera in her arms, and Grace assures her that, no matter what happens, she'll find a way back to Sera-not to watch over her in spirit, but to return to her side no matter what it took. Sera, finally understanding what Grace had meant all this time, promises to never give up on her in return, and the two extend their vows to all of eternity.
