Story

Grace walks back home after her usual idol routine where she sees Firebird cornering someone with a flaming sword. She confronts Firebird, letting the other person flee, and tells them that isn’t what a hero should do to protect people. Firebird says that it is a necessary sacrifice in order to bring peace and tells her that if she wants to achieve a goal, she’ll need to sacrifice others, or she'll only be able to sacrifice herself. Firebird flees and while she tries to stop them, a Noise Beast shows up. She pulls up the linking app but only Hakuno responds.

Meanwhile, Sera is at the Antiphon building where she uses the NOISZ/RS to sneak in and confront the head of the company, Gaius Antiphon, threatening him with a loaded gun to try and gain more information about why Antiphon is using STΔRLIVHT in one of their experiments. Her plan fails after the bullet is intercepted by Stornel and receives Grace's link request from her phone - left with a perilous situation where she can link up with Grace but be left vulnerable, yet won't be able to help if something were to happen to her here. However, Gaius allows her to safely link with Grace and walk free with no harm if she simply leaves once she's done.

Eventually, Sera and Sumire respond to the app and Grace takes on the incredibly powerful Noise Beast.

After Grace dispatches the Noise Beast, she attempts to continue speaking with Firebird, but realizes they're gone, wondering if they're also a NOISZ user.

That night, the Producer has a dream; the members of STΔRLIVHT, locked in combat with Gaius in the Antiphon building's basement in front of a portal to another world, and dying over and over again - thousands of times, if not more. There are minor changes, but none of them seem to change their fate, until she catches a glimpse of Gaius being impaled by a blade. However, this vision does not last long, and the cycles return to STΔRLIVHT dying in combat.

The dream ends, and the Producer calls Sera to warn her not to fight Gaius, though Sera is caught off-guard and assumes the Producer is talking about her encounter with Gaius. The two seem to have two different conversations about Gaius entirely, though they both wave it off and continue with their daily work.

The scene moves to a continuation of Chapter 1.IV's ending, with Beyond, demanding to know where STΔRLIVHT is; the unknown speaker insists STΔRLIVHT is dead, though Beyond is unhappy with this answer. Ignoring the speaker's pleas, she resolves to intensify the interrogation and apologizes, claiming this will hurt.
