Below is a list of the things that can be changed in the Options menu in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT.

Game

{{#if:|Gameplay Settings|GAMEPLAY SETTINGS}}

Scroll Rate: Affects the speed at which notes appear and move.

Rate Setting: Changes how Scroll Rate can be changed; Standard means Scroll Rate is a multiplier of the standard scroll speed, while Automatic sets scroll speed to whatever BPM you set; note that this option does not affect slash notes.

Input Offset: Affects the input offset of note detection timing in gameplay; -50ms means the game expects a perfect input 50ms before the beat, for example. This can be calibrated by the player.

{{#if:|Audio Settings|AUDIO SETTINGS}}

Music Volume: The volume of the music.

Hit SFX Volume: The volume of the sound notes make when you tap one.

Other SFX Volume: The volume of all other sound effects.

Story

{{#if:|Story Settings|STORY SETTINGS}}

Avatar Display: Changes whether character avatars are optimised for performance, or high quality.

Text Speed: Changes how fast text scrolls in dialogue.

Autoscroll: Determines whether dialogue/text scrolls without user dialogue, and at what speed.

Advanced

{{#if:|Advanced Settings|ADVANCED SETTINGS}}

Audio Buffer: Changes the size of the audio buffer, from smallest (Speed) to largest (Compatibility). The audio buffer is what pre-loads ingame audio during songs so that notes properly match up with the song.

Gameplay FX: Affects how much certain gameplay effects, such as the shots that fire when notes are tapped, are displayed; "Lite" increases performance, though lowers the prominence of those effects.

Dock Indicator: If this option is on, the dock will be represented by a small dot on the screen; if not there will be no UI indication of the dock's location on the screen during gameplay.

Hide Spoilers: Changes certain bosses to Censor Daniel to avoid spoilers. This option only changes the bosses when playing outside of the story mode.

Burst Bar Input: Changes whether the area between the movement area and the four diamonds on the bottom registers note taps or character movement, effectively extending either the movement area or the note area depending on whether this option is set to "Movement" or "Notes" respectively.

Stage Background: How much a song background displays, for performance and gameplay purposes.

Burst Activation: Affects whether Bursts are activated with two or three fingers.

Early/Late Display: Affects whether early or late indicators appear for notes that are tapped in gameplay, and for which notes they appear.

Cloud Save

The cloud save acts as a backup for local game progress, and if the player saves to the cloud, it will be saved to the NOISZ STΔRLIVHT servers. If the player loads from a cloud save, it will overwrite the local files with the cloud save; take note that this does not overwrite pass data, so purchased Passes won't be lost. If they still don't show up, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the Shop.
