Story

At the Nekoda's apartment, Hakuno and Firebird continue their own clash. Hakuno attempts to reason with Firebird, calling out to them as Hitori. However, as her claws shatter Firebird's mask, she realizes that the person standing in front of her is someone new entirely.

Firebird admits they aren't entirely Sumire or Hitori; their seperation isn't as clean as they'd like, and sometimes they have to pretend a bit to be a full person. Despite that, they'll occasionally fall through the cracks, and all that is left is anger-this was what Firebird originally was. Beyond believed that if they could awaken as Sumire and Hitori at the same time, they could link together and become the greatest NOISZ user. Firebird agreed to participate in Beyond's experiments to try to awaken as both, wanting to see what a "complete" version of them would be like. Hakuno notes that Firebird isn't quite what Sumire and Hitori would be together, and Firebird agrees. They say the experiment was likely a failure, and created the Firebird standing before Hakuno.

Despite believing their "self" to be a mistake, they still believe in their justice, and once again tells Hakuno to stand aside. Hakuno refuses to back down, and the two fight again.
