Joker is the producer of the idol group STΔRLIVHT. She has been STΔRLIVHT's producer since the members were scouted by Antiphon, tasked with growing a bond between the four members, in a plot to kill Gaius Antiphon with the Final Burst and leave the 4 main members alive to defeat Alpha.

Story

From Joker's perspective, the events of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT take place from two perspectives; the "present day" where she is interrogated by Beyond about the events of the past, and the simulation of the past she is inserted in. For information on her role as Producer in False Timeline, see Producer.

Chapter 0

In Chapter 0.IV, Joker suddenly wakes up in a tank filled with fluid, unable to escape, and panics. Beyond appears, and Joker demands she be let out. Her cries are ignored, and Beyond puts her back to sleep.

Chapter 1

In Chapter 1.IV, Joker is awakened after viewing a fragment of a dream, which is erased by Beyond. She accuses her of not being the real Beyond, who claims "Beyond" is a declaration of intention. Beyond then asks her where STΔRLIVHT is.

Chapter 2

Continuing from the end of Chapter 1.IV, in Chapter 2.IV Joker claims that STΔRLIVHT is dead and begs to be released, saying there's nothing left to see. Beyond, unsatisfied, resolves to continue her investigation and sends Joker back to sleep.

Chapter 3

In Chapter 3.I, Joker dreams of the beginnings of their plan, though is unable to remember what exactly their plan was. She notes that once they began they couldn't know what it was, and that she will have to throw herself away to protect her friends and the truth. She wonders if they knew she would feel this way, but knows it's too late to know now. She releases the memory and it fades, leaving Joker to another dream once again.

Chapter 4

At the end of Chapter 4.IV, Joker disparages the events that she just witnessed, claiming that even if they did happen, neither her or Beyond would remember. Beyond admits that the events she saw were an extrapolation-the likeliest explanation of what happened. Joker asks what they even saw, and what Beyond was trying to do at the end. Beyond admits she'd like to know too, but notes they can't risk contamination, and puts Joker back to sleep.

Chapter 5

At the end of Chapter 5.I, Beyond notes that Joker is ultimately hiding the truth she seeks from her. Joker claims otherwise, saying whatever she was trying to was a failure and begs to be released again. Beyond counters by saying they can easily tell when the past she shows them differs from reality, and that she too will soon have to face it-the reality that she died two years ago. She tells Joker that though she has nothing to return to, she can still change the future when she admits who she is. Joker claims to be Arietta Antiphon, that STΔRLIVHT is dead, and that this is her punishment for her betrayal. Beyond tells her not to say things like that, and asks her to at least believe in herself. In Chapter 5.IV, Beyond asks Joker what happened after the Clash of Twilight; she claims STΔRLIVHT lost the vote like she wanted and went to fight Gaius Antiphon. Beyond questions this, noting they had no reason to be there as far as they knew, but Joker is certain this was the truth. Beyond reveals she knows how she hid the truth from her; by editing herself out of her own story, she's denied herself and her fate, and what's left is no more then a dream. Joker asks how she even knows this, to which Beyond says she knows who Joker really is. Joker calls it ridiculous, saying she remembers her life as Arietta Antiphon. Beyond questions how she completed high school after the incident in the Antiphon Building's basement, which Joker cannot answer, but knows she interned during her last year and was brought on as an accountant. While she doesn't know how, she is certain that they're true, as there is no way to rewrite someone's memories. Beyond notes this cycle is lost anyways, and asks "Ari" to tell her of STΔRLIVHT's final battle. After viewing Dead End, completing Chapter 5.I again sees Joker returning to the point where the data interference began. While she questions what she'd seen before as true, Beyond tells her it isn't her place to decide that. Joker asks her why she didn't try to put her on the right path before. Beyond explains that bringing her back was a long, painstaking process; every scrap of truth brings Joker closer to oblivion, and if she dies again, they no longer have the time to try again. Joker asks why she'd cooperate with her; Beyond claims her original self is pushing her forward, to fulfill the promise she made. Joker admits she feels compelled to move forward, but also wishes to stay in the cycles, afraid of what's to come. At this point, Beyond asks her if what she'd seen before was truly real. If the player selects yes, Beyond will begin preparing the final cycle, and invites Joker to find the truth with her. If the player says no, Beyond will start the cycle again, telling Joker to show her her true reality.

Chapter 5 (TH) & -1

In Chapter 5.I of True Heroes, Producer, reading the email for the Clash of Twilight, feels as if her and the rest of STΔRLIVHT's roles are ending. Unwilling to stand by and do nothing, she calls STΔRLIVHT into her office and tells them what she believes is Beyond's true goal; killing Gaius Antiphon to prevent him from destroying music. While Grace and Sumire are willing to do it, Sera and Hakuno are more hesitant. The latter two leave the office to practice, with Producer fearing what the news has done to their bond. Sumire assures her their bond has faced worse, and Grace suggests that Sera may agree to the plan if they can find something that proves they can defeat Gaius. Producer reveals her dreams of STΔRLIVHT fighting Gaius in the Antiphon building's hidden lab, and agrees to speak to Beyond about finding the lab. After witnessing Hakuno discover the supposed phone connecting to Beyond is merely a prop, Joker questions why they needed such a convoluted plan. Beyond finally decides to show her the beginnings of their plan, and the role she played in it. In Chapter -1.I, Joker witnesses how everything came to this point; the incident in the basement with the portal to the World of Music. As she does, she is interrupted by Seiryu, seemingly vengeful for Joker supposedly sending STΔRLIVHT to die against Gaius. Seiryu then moves to attack Joker. When Joker defeats her, Seiryu returns to her true form as Sera, telling her not to blame herself for what happened. Joker then continues into the world of the past. In Chapter 5.II, Producer and Beyond have conducted a plan to sneak into Antiphon R&D to find the secret lab. Producer is suspicious of Beyond's co-operation, considering how Beyond wishes for STΔRLIVHT to lose the competition. Beyond assures her she is on Producer's side, and warns her not to let anyone die before the final fight. Joker relays Beyond's information to Grace and Sera, and provides them with Beyond's keycard to enter the lab. In Chapter -1.II, Joker sees how Arietta and Beyond Antiphon used the NOISZ to collect energy from Noise Beasts to restore their bodies and the damaged barrier between worlds. However, Gaius eventually learns what they are doing, and moves to retake the NOISZ to separate the worlds instead. Arietta, Beyond, and Remora begin planning a way to reclaim the NOISZ, despite Arietta and Beyond's bodies beginning to fail. Joker is once again interrupted by another NOISZ Beast, Byakko. Byakko says she wanted to live, and so did the rest of STΔRLIVHT, and attacks Joker. After the fight, Joker attempts to claim responsibility, but Hakuno appears instead to assure her she isn't the kind of person who'd let STΔRLIVHT die like that. Joker, while still confused about her role, is still reassured by Hakuno's words, and continues onwards. In Chapter 5.III, Sumire enters Producer's office and asks to speak with Beyond. Producer agrees, and dials Beyond, noting how the phone isn't plugged in. Before she can speak with Beyond, Sumire takes the phone from her, and Arietta takes control of her body once more. After Sera and Grace's proposal, Producer watches an interview from Gaius Antiphon before returning to social media to attempt quelling the upset fans. However, she sees posts about Hakuno rather then Sera and Grace, and discovers that Yashiro has outed Hakuno to the press. Unsure of what to do, she calls Sumire and tells her about the situation, asking for help. Sumire tells her she'll speak with Hakuno about it, and Producer returns to handling the news. In Chapter -1.III, Joker sees how Arietta's plan started coming into motion, beginning with a dream of STΔRLIVHT defeating Gaius and becoming the strongest NOISZ users after she, Beyond, and Remora save them from a Noise Beast attack at HI-LIVE. After Arietta verifies the group's existence, she, Remora, and Beyond go to their HI-LIVE performance to verify if Arietta truly saw a vision of the future. Like before, Suzaku interrupts, claiming that Joker and Arietta are one and the same, and that Arietta's crimes are still hers, and like the others, attacks Joker. After the fight, Joker attempts to admit she and Arietta are the same, but is interrupted by Sumire and Hitori saying she isn't. Sumire suggests the outcome may not be what she thinks it is, but Joker is is unnerved by what inevitably comes next; the part she plays in their plan. Aware that she is approaching the point of no return, Joker is unsure if she can keep moving forwards. In Chapter 5.IV, Producer suddenly appears in the Antiphon building as Grace enters, warning her that if she continues, there will be no going back. Her sudden appearance causes Grace to realize the nature of the world as a simulation of the past. Joker tells her it isn't too late to go back, reminding her of the time she spent with Sera. Despite this, Grace refuses, and seeing no other options, the two duel. As Joker is defeated, Grace assures her the reason she was able to was because Joker had wanted to continue down this path. Now ready to face what lies ahead, she tells Grace she'll forget the recent events in order to keep the simulation accurate. The two bid farewell for now, Grace assuring Joker that STΔRLIVHT is still with her, and wish each other luck on their missions. In Chapter -1.IV, as Joker attempts to return to the past, she is stopped by Genbu, standing before her. Joker now understands the true nature of the NOISZ Beasts she faced; the locks she placed to hide the truth. She demands Genbu let her pass, but Genbu says she'll decide for herself if Joker is strong enough to continue. As Genbu turns back into Grace, she reassures her she had always been strong as Joker realizes why she had been running from the truth for so long; to relive her days with STΔRLIVHT again and again. Grace assures her that if she lets go of the past, she'll have a chance to be able to see her real friends again. Joker, wondering what future lies outside her tank, resolves to end the cycles. In the distant past, Arietta and Remora return from the HI-LIVE show, now certain their vision was true. However, this also means that Alpha, the entity possessing Arietta, will fake her death and escape in the future. Unsatisfied with this outcome, the two begin planning to find a way to defeat Gaius with STΔRLIVHT and keep them alive to finish off Alpha. Unable to find a way through without using the Final Burst, an attack that will end with the user's death, Arietta asks Remora to make her a fifth copy, claiming there's someone who can do the job. Arietta speaks with Joker, asking her if she'd like to become a real person for one year. She would take Arietta's place in the world, but once her year is up, she will die. Joker agrees, knowing about the situation and wanting to know what being a "real" person is like. Arietta is unsurprised, but is sure Joker will hate her when she dies. Regardless, she says she'll tell Beyond and Remora to set up their plan, and Joker notes they won't be able to speak like this again. Arietta confirms this, but says she looks forward to meeting her again as Producer.

Chapter VS

In VS Prelude, after seeing the four girls prepare for their fated duels, Joker asks Beyond how she's supposed to know the outcomes of these fights. Beyond reveals that, like the world, she is a simulation, and that there are thousands of versions of herself answering that same question. Joker muses on the nature of her "self", now knowing she is merely a copy of the "real" Joker. Despite this, she is adamant her feelings are still real, and Beyond assures her they'll do everything they can to help STΔRLIVHT. With this, Joker makes her decision alongside all of "herself". In Chapter VS.1, the procedure is completed, though Joker doesn't feel any different. Beyond says this is good, seeing as how they're all "her", and asks her to look back in her memories. Joker assumes this means what happens next, but Beyond says she means before that; Joker isn't reliving her entire life, only the parts that are important for the mission. As Joker muses on how her "complete" self will never return, she suddenly views a memory from an ordinary day where she was an ordinary girl. STΔRLIVHT surprise Producer in her office for her birthday, complete with a cranberry cake made by Sumire. After the group finishes the cake, they go out shopping for new clothes for Producer, and finish the day with a trip to the arcade and to karaoke. Producer is sure that, while they may not have many chances for these kinds of days, this day will certainly be a precious memory for her. Back in the present, Joker questions how she'd recovered such a memory, but is also certain she never should have forgotten. Joker finally understands the significance of the bonds she forged with STΔRLIVHT; those bonds made her real back then, and if they're still alive, then so is she. Confident that she can finally see the end of this tale, Joker proceeds to witness the fated duels. In VS Postlude, Producer notices STΔRLIVHT coming in exhausted after their fights the previous night. The group catch her up on what happened, though Hakuno tells most of her story since Sumire couldn't remember what happened. Producer notes their sync data has increased, and STΔRLIVHT assures her they'll win the Clash of Twilight as well. She says she'll come up with a PR response to the fire with the others before letting the girls off early for the day, though Hakuno stays behind to practice. Later, Producer goes over her and Beyond's progress on defeating Gaius with Sumire. So far, they've surmized he'll likely be using the Antiphon Armament and a weaponized version of Antiphon's prosthetic limbs for the fight, alongside the original NOISZ. However, there is one more variant far more dangerous then the others; Gaius has been seen carrying human souls in the test tubes on his belt. Knowing how the NOISZ functions, Producer guesses he could use them to power the NOISZ greatly, though unfortunately doesn't know anything beyond that. Sumire, remembering Arietta's request to her, asks Producer to come with them to the fight. She agrees to look into upgrading her wheelchair for the fight. As the Clash of Twilight concludes, Producer waits with the rest of STΔRLIVHT to see the results for the show. When the site finally updates, she and the rest of STΔRLIVHT are surprised to see that the Clash of Twilight has ended in a tie. The group celebrates this almost miraculous outcome, though Producer notes this time may not last long.

Chapter 6 (TH)

In Chapter 6.I, Joker sees they're coming to the end of the final cycle, and wonders if they're going to suceed in their mission. Beyond is certain they will, seeing the true outcome of the Clash of Twilight. Beyond asks Joker what the thinks of this; Joker is sure it's a miracle, while Beyond thinks that Arietta had set it up beforehand for Joker's recollection. Regardless, Beyond is certain that they've arrived at the reality they've sought for, and the end of the final cycle begins. The day before STΔRLIVHT's confrontation with Gaius comes, and Producer sees that the artificial Noise Beasts have been deavtivated. Surmising this is Gaius's way of inviting STΔRLIVHT to settle this, Producer reveals to the others that she plans to come to the fight as well, having Beyond upgrade her wheelchair to help fight, or at least serve as a distraction. The group accepts this, and plan to meet up at the building tomorrow to defeat Gaius. The group arrive at the Antiphon building's basement, seeing Gaius about to finish separating the World of Music from the human world. Producer notes the scenery feels familiar, though is unsure why. Gaius seemingly addresses Producer personally, claiming she'll finally understand her true talents when music vanishes from the world, though Producer feels as if he's speaking to someone else. With nothing left to say, Gaius sends Stornel out to fight, and Hakuno and Sumire decide to fight him. After Stornel's defeat, Gaius takes the NOISZ from him, and Stornel dies once again. As Gaius prepares to attack, Producer suddenly hears a voice in her head telling her it's time; use the Final Burst now and fufill her promise. Continuing in Chapter 6.II, Producer attempts to tell the voice they're going to win the fight without it, fearing the thought of dying, even if for her friends. The voice relents, unable to force her, but tells her the option is there and to not have any regrets. As Producer returns to the scene, Sera and Grace prepare to fight against Gaius. As Producer watches the fight, she sees an opening and unleashes the weapons in her wheelchair. While Gaius deflects them easily, it is enough to distract him long enough for Sera to take him down. Though he is seemingly defeated, Producer remembers how he had died in her visions, with a sword piercing him, and warns them he's still alive. Grace manages to deflect his attack as he emerges from the smoke, imprinting onto himself using the NOISZ, and supplying the power needed with the souls he collected. Seeing the evil that Gaius is, Producer resolves to defeat him. Continuing in Chapter 6.III, Grace buys time for the group by deflecting his attacks, though Producer knows she can't do so forever. The voice reminds her she still has an option, but Producer realizes there's another path; she holds a NOISZ/RS herself. Activating her copy, it addresses her as Arisa Antiphon, which she recognizes as the voice speaking to her. Arietta warns her that she hasn't seen a future where she survives this, but is interested to see if Producer can change the future herself. Returning to the fight, Producer calls out to the others to link with her. With the power of STΔRLIVHT, Producer steps up to face Gaius herself. As Gaius unleashes a finishing blow, the pain of the attack flows out from the simulation into reality. Beyond attempts to assure Joker it's only a memory, but Joker demands to be put back into the simulation. beyond relents, and wishes her luck. As pain surges through Producer's body, she realizes this pain has spread to the others through their connection. As Gaius prepares to finish them off, however, Grace manages to stand once again, ready to keep fighting. Producer watches in awe of Grace's power as a hero, but the moment is ended by six of Gaius's swords piercing her body. Realizing what she has to do now, Producer looks into herself and prepares the Final Burst. Continuing in Chapter 6.IV, Producer unleashes the Final Burst, completely obliterating Gaius and all of the souls he had claimed. As Producer begins to die, she asks Arietta to tell her who she is, since the information killing her no longer matters. Arietta agrees, and starts with the day the two met. For her birthday, Gaius gifts Arietta with a copy of Antiphon's prototype AI, "Joker". Though confused at first, Arietta accepts the gift, forming a bond with Joker as Joker develops a personality similar to a young Arietta's. When Arietta ran away with Beyond and Remora, she had a chip installed into her brain to continue communicating with Joker. Joker surmises this means she wasn't in the chip itself, which Arietta confirms; the human body simply can't have that much electricity drawn from it. Although technology has improved, for Joker to become human they needed to have her "brain" close to her at all times, so they had her copied into a supercomputer installed in the wheelchair. Despite this revealation, Arietta assures her that she's human in this moment, and that she'd always mattered. Unexpectedly, Joker awakens back in the basement. Arietta reveals she added several subroutines to slow her death, but warns that the data that makes "her" up is still being deleted. She estimates Joker has about four hours to live. As Joker gets up to check on the rest of STΔRLIVHT, however, Gaius also picks himself up, though almost appears to be sleepwalking. Joker attempts to finish him off, but he shrugs off the attack as chains and black wings erupt from his back to Arietta's horror; Gaius is possessed by the shard of Alpha within the NOISZ. Unable to use the Final Burst again, Joker realizes they need the sword from her visions. As Grace resurrects herself, Joker warns that Gaius is possessed by Alpha. She says she'll take him on, knowing her death is inevitable, but Grace surmises that Joker used the Final Burst and joins her in the fight. Though Joker warns Grace's NOISZ Beast aura could poison the rest of STΔRLIVHT, the group still resolve to end this together, and perform their chant together with Joker as the final fight begins. As Grace and Joker drive one of Grace's Binary Black Holes into Gaius, Arietta temporarily takes control to witness her father's final moments. After throwing his body into the void, Arietta returns control to Joker, who congratulates the group for their victory. However, Joker's memory has returned to her, and she reveals that in two years, Alpha will return and fake her death to escape the final NOISZ user defeating her. To defeat her for good, STΔRLIVHT will need to fake their deaths and hide away for those two years. They'll be placed into stasis in a hidden lab outside of town, though Grace chooses to stay awake in case something happens. The group head to an autocar pre-planned for them outside the building, with Joker encrypting the group's messages to their loved ones. At the lab, as the group arrive to the stasis chamber, Sera suddenly announces she wants to have her wedding with Grace here. They hold an impromptu wedding for the two, manifesting wedding dresses using the NOISZ, with Joker happy that she could see this moment. As the wedding ends, STΔRLIVHT goes into stasis, and Joker wishes them good night, thanking them for everything. Now alone with Grace, Grace asks why she hadn't told them about her death. Joker says when they wake up, there will be a new "her" with her memories and personality, who will treat them as friends. As she didn't want the next "her" to feel isolated from STΔRLIVHT, she chose to stay silent about her fate, even if she's jealous. Grace apologizes to her for not using the Final Burst, but Joker says they each made their choices, musing to herself that she may not have found the strength to use it had she not seen Grace make a final stand against Gaius. Joker asks Grace how she revived herself as a NOISZ Beast when the operation hadn't been done on her, which Grace answers by saying she stole the concept of magic from another world and used it to revive herself. Joker then warns Grace that when she dies, Arietta will regain control of her body and erase her memories of the fight. While Joker assures Grace that Arietta is a good person, Alpha is currently sealed within her body's eye, and Grace cannot allow Alpha to learn of STΔRLIVHT's survival. Grace assures her she'll protect the others, and with Joker having around a minute left to live, asks her if she wants anything for her final moment. Joker, possibly due to music returning to the world, feels the urge to sing. Grace promises to listen, and Joker begins to sing: Born to serve a purpose Born to die a hero But with my last breath, I'll speak only of Before the world cuts to black, and Joker's life as STΔRLIVHT's Producer comes to an end.

• In No Hints Here!, during the platforming and free-roam sections, Joker will be featured in her wheelchair, with her movement being more slippery and her jump being replaced with a rocket thruster.
