Grades are a combination of verse clears over all runs on the same chart. A verse is considered cleared if you survive the verse, and the health bar is +0% or higher; bursting does not affect your performance for verse stars.
Once the health bar reaches +0%, there is a circle on the top-left of the health bar indicating your performance:
- Gold star means you currently have all Star Radiant judgments (the purple kind of Radiant).
- Silver star means you have full combo, but not all judgments are Star Radiant.
- Green circle means you have broken your combo.
- Gray circle (appears when the verse ends) means you failed to clear the health bar.
At the end of the run, your verse performances are saved. Each verse is saved separately, and the song selection menu displays a combination of your best verse performances; your grade depends on your verse performances and your TP. In addition, two grades (S and SS) also depend on your best verse performances.
The following list gives the list of grades, from lowest to highest. In order to get a given grade, you need to meet the requirements of the grades below as well. For example, you cannot get an SS if you do not also keep a full combo in all verses (the requirement for S grade) and 90.00 or above TP (the requirement for AA grade).
