COINZ operates as an optional stamina system and in-game currency in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT. There are two kinds of COINZ: free COINZ, which refills to full at a rate of 1 COINZ every 5 hours, up to a maximum of 4 free COINZ; and paid COINZ, which can either be purchased in the shop with real money or by watching an ad, up to a limit of 4 ads per day. Free and paid COINZ are displayed as (Free COINZ) + (Paid COINZ) on the bar in the top-right, and free COINZ will always be used first.
Paid COINZ can be purchased at the following rate of US dollars; other currencies have their own conversion rate according to the appropriate app store.

Playing in free play does not require any COINZ, although the player may opt to spend COINZ to obtain extra EXP and drops from completing songs in free play. If the Club Pass has been purchased in a folder, the EXP/drops from each play are increased. The following table gives the EXP/drops given the amount of COINZ spent:

COINZ are also used to play Challenge Mode, Events, Forge of Antiphon, and the course mode Queen's Ascension.
COINZ (Pre-2.000)
Before COINZ were revamped in version 2.000, COINZ were divided into three tiers.
Bronze COINZ were obtained for free and regenerated naturally over time. A maximum of 8 could be held at any given time. They had the same function as Silver COINZ. Bronze COINZ were always used before Silver COINZ.
Silver COINZ could be earned by watching ads, purchasing them in the Shop, or as rewards for completing certain story content. There was no cap on the maximum number of Silver COINZ that could be held at once.
Gold COINZ could only be obtained by purchasing them in the Shop. Gold COINZ function like lower tiers of COINZ, in addition to granting 2x EXP and drops when used.
Before version 2.000, without owning Club Passes and/or VIP Passes, all difficulties above Easy required COINZ to play. Like COINZ in version 2.000 and beyond, COINZ were required to play Challenge Mode and Event Mode.
