Story Context

(Version used in the story is shortened from the full song) During STΔRLIVHT‘s first show at the Budo Garden, the area goes quiet, and time freezes. Through cracks in reality, a robotic rhino emerges and attacks STΔRLIVHT. A mysterious woman named Beyond arrives on the scene and asks Grace to call upon her own power. Drawing strength from her bandmates, Grace uses the NOISZ/RS to fight the rhino and protect her friends.

Level Gimmicks

Like in Robot Rhinos, this chart features robotic rhinos that chase the player character around the movement area. The mini-rhinos will take a step towards you each beat, and the distance they travel is dependent on difficulty.

They also occasionally shoot out bullets around themselves. The quantity of the bullets a mini-rhino shoots depends on difficulty (doesn’t appear in Easy difficulty).

You can’t destroy them like in NOISZ; however, they will self-destruct once their duration is over, leaving behind an expanding ring of bullets around them (similarly to the otherwise indestructible mini-rhino in Robot Rhinos). The number of bullets in the ring depends on difficulty.

The chart also has circular rings of bullets, similar to those seen in the NOISZ tutorial.

The Overload difficulty chart prominently features hold notes/vertices that require both inputs over each other.

Tutorial

In the context of the tutorial, the charting for First Star is simple and designed to establish the main mechanics of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT: hitting notes, moving your character, the RS-DASH, and Grace's NOISZ Burst.

Even so, certain patterns from the NOISZ tutorial return here, such as the rings of bullets that spawn out from the center of the enemy. If the timing discrepancy between the offset found during calibration and when notes are hit during the tutorial is too large, the game will automatically adjust your chart offset to compensate.

Trivia

This song appears in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT's tutorial. This tutorial plays at the start of Chapter 0.I.
The song's enemy is a miniature robot rhino. This Noise Beast was also the enemy of NOISZ Ignition's tutorial.
For a brief time, on version 2.100, the tutorial contained a Void laser in place of a regular red laser.
- This was eventually patched, around the time of version 2.101.
- This glitch Void laser was the first time Void lasers appeared in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT, even before their official debut in Forged In Darkest Abyss.
