Queen's Ascension is a course mode in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT. This mode has the player clear 8 stages using a special style called Trial of the Pawn, a style that has fixed D stats and no burst. This mode becomes accessible after clearing VS Postlude. The main purpose of this mode is to unlock V-IGNITION on STΔRLIVHT STΔGE and STΔRLIVHT STΔFF styles.
Similar to Forge of Antiphon, this mode also uses a persistent health bar between songs, and shares it's increased HP. Starting a Queen's Ascension run costs 4 COINZ, but you can continue a failed run with only 2. Continuing a run sets you back 1 stage, requiring you to clear the previous song in the course again.
It is also possible to roll back to a cleared stage during a run by tapping on the icon next to it. This also counts as a continue, but does not spend any COINZ. This allows the player to get a better score or more health from previous stages, while sacrificing a portion of the progress made in the current run. You can also exit during a trial and resume it later, without it counting as a continue.
Trial of the Pawn
Queen's Ascension features a special style called Trial of the Pawn. This style has the following properties:
- Fixed D stats (AA in Duel Gauge songs) that cannot be upgraded.
- 798 PW, that becomes 799 upon reaching level 44.
- Burst is disabled.
- Can survive a lethal hit once per verse.
These styles are initially locked to the Queen's Ascension mode, but become available for free play after clearing the regular trial of the character's folder.
The Trial of the Pawn style has a secret ability that allows you to skip Conqueror levels. By equipping it together with the Conqueror title and clearing 3 charts of the same level higher than your current Conqueror level, it becomes that level even if it is not the next one in normal progression.

Each of the 5 folders has 2 trials: A regular trial, and an EX trial. Regular trials are unlocked by default, except for Joker, whose trial can only be played after clearing both Chapter 6 of True Heroes and the other 4 trials at least once, while EX courses requires players to clear the regular trial of the same folder with no continues, and to own both the Club Pass and Event Pass (only Club Pass for Spade and Joker) for the folder. All of the trials are available at any point after being unlocked - this event does not go on rotation.
Some of the regular trials include Overload charts, but these can be cleared with thumbs. Unlocking these charts is not required for accessing Queen's Ascension, but if they are cleared in this mode they will also be unlocked for free play.
The reward for clearing the regular trial is 2222 tokens of the corresponding folder, which are used for obtaining the V-IGNITION of each character's STΔRLIVHT STΔGE/STΔFF style, alongside the corresponding Trial of the Pawn style for free play. A title is also available for clearing all of the regular trials at least once.
The rewards for clearing the EX trial are the Team titles formerly only available through Convergent Events, alongside a new Queen title for each of the folders.

Joker
Joker's trial is initially locked until Clover, Dia, Heart, and Spade regular trials have all been cleared at least once. You must also complete Chapter 6 of True Heroes to attempt this trial.
Joker's Queen's Ascension is unique in that it has an additional 9th rank. Clearing this 9th song is not required for obtaining the V-IGNITION, as the 2222 Joker tokens are obtained upon completing the 8th rank. It is, however, required to unlock the EX course, as failing will count as spending a continue. Attempting the 9th rank will unlock it for free play, regardless if it is cleared or not.
