2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: Forever My Diamond

Forever My Diamond details Grace and Sera's last few days of middle school before graduation, and Grace struggles with the feelings she has for Sera. However, newspaper club president Yoko Hinamori spreads the rumour that Sera is dating friend and music club co-president Akira, much to Grace's dismay as she begins to panic, terrified of losing Sera.

Later on, Grace learns of Akira's feelings for Sera, though depending on player choices, Akira has either come and gone already, and Sera calls Grace over to the cherry blossom tree in the schoolyard after she panics and heads home, or Grace witnesses Akira's confession; in this case, she runs in and interrupts, confessing her feelings to Sera, who reciprocates.

Under the blossom tree, Sera and Grace talk of their love for each other, and kiss for the first time, becoming girlfriends.

NOISZ STΔRLIVHT

Chapter 0

Grace is the first person to appear in NOISZ STΔRLIVHT's story, as the first to receive her NOISZ/RS from Beyond, and therefore the first to defeat a Noise Beast. From then on, she vows to protect her friends in STΔRLIVHT as she adjusts to STΔRLIVHT's new life signed to Antiphon's new entertainment division. While this worries Sera, the two set out to strengthen their relationship and grow closer with the rest of the group.

Chapter 1

Grace and Sera talks more of Sera's fears for the future, and Grace offers her support to Sera, helping her to lead STΔRLIVHT as best she can as Sera begins to struggle with the weight of leadership, arguing with Hakuno over the creation of a new song STΔRLIVHT has been commissioned to make - though with Grace's blessing, Sera apologises for her behaviour.

Chapter 2

In the wake of Firebird's attacks on serial abusers, Grace questions what it means to be a hero as she continues her routines as an idol and her relationship with Sera continues to evolve; later, she speaks of her asexuality to Sera as well in Chapter 2.IIIas her worries of losing Sera as a best friend, who assures her it won't happen.

Eventually she comes face-to-face with the vigilante in Chapter 2.IV; the two disagree on the meaning of justice, though Grace is unable to question Firebird further as she is interrupted by a Noise Beast.

Chapter 3

Grace supports Hitori in the wake of Sumire's traumatic memories forcing him to front in her place, as well as supporting Sera in her decision to tell Hakuno about her parentage.

Chapter 4

Grace offers Hakuno advice for her love life, spurring her on to ask the object of her affections to hang out.

In Chapter 4.III and Chapter 4.IV, Beyond takes STΔRLIVHT to an Antiphon lab on the outskirts of town for a "checkup" on their souls, to assess their power as NOISZ users; however, the four of them are attacked by a Noise Beast set on them by Stornel, who had been waiting for them. Feeling it calling to her, Sera dispatches it, though the appearance of Genbu, a NOISZ Beast almost identical in appearance to Grace, catches them off guard. Grace faces off against her "evil clone", who collapses to the ground after her defeat.

Before they can react, Beyond holds a gun to Sera's head and tells STΔRLIVHT to enter a nearby machine; they do, and everything goes black.

Later on that day, STΔRLIVHT return to the office, and inform Producer that the checkup was uneventful; like getting a checkup at an ordinary doctor's practice.

Chapter 5

STΔRLIVHT is faced with a new challenge in Chapter 5.I: the Clash of Twilight, a competition between SUNRaiSE and STΔRLIVHT, composed of a series of musical performances culminating in a joint performance, with mini-polls at each stop; whoever loses the polls overall is forced to disband, and so, Grace steps up her game under Sera's new practice regimen

And on the final day, at the final show in Chapter 5.IV, Sera proposes to Grace with a sword she'd had specially forged for her - the Binary Star - and Grace says yes. Shining brighter than ever before, STΔRLIVHT put on the performance of their lives with and against SUNRaiSE.

STΔRLIVHT lose, and afterwards, they head to the Antiphon Building basement for the final battle with Gaius Antiphon.

Chapter 6

Grace is present for the final battle with Gaius Antiphon along with the rest of STΔRLIVHT, in front of the portal to the World of Music in the basement of the Antiphon Building; they appear victorious, though several swords hurtle out of the dust cloud towards STΔRLIVHT. Without thinking, Grace pushes Sera out of the way and is impaled by those swords in Sera's place, dying in Sera's arms.

NOISZ STΔRLIVHT True Heroes

Chapter 5 (TH)

In Chapter 5.I of True Heroes, Grace is called in with the rest of STΔRLIVHT by Producer about how Beyond plans to have them fight and defeat Gaius Antiphon. While Grace and Sumire are ready to accept, Hakuno and Sera refuse, leaving to continue practicing for the Clash of Twilight. Unsure of what to do, Grace says Sera may be willing to come around if they can prove they have a way to defeat him. Producer says she's dreamed of the upcoming fight, where she'd seen STΔRLIVHT die fighting him, but saw one vision where they managed to defeat him. Grace suggests if they can find the lab they'd fought in, it would prove the vision is real. Producer agrees, and plans to speak with Beyond to find the lab.

In Chapter 5.II, Grace and Sera prepare to infiltrate Antiphon R&D to find the lab, using a keycard provided by Beyond. Before leaving, Producer warns them Beyond had mentioned security increasing, but is unsure how. Despite her warning, the trip down begins smoothly until the two notice they're being followed. They enter conceptual time, and the figure following them reveals itself to be a robot that acts similar to a Noise Beast. Grace offers to fight it, but Sera tells her to let her handle it.

After the fight, several more sentries charge in. Before they can attack, however, Stornel suddenly intervenes, blocking the sentries' attacks and leading the girls into another room where he disables the bots. He then introduces himself as Gaius' bodyguard, a NOISZ Beast normally forced to serve him, though he has some control in R&D. He claims that they have no chance of defeating Gaius as they are now, but he knows of a surefire way to defeat him; a special attack all NOISZ users can perform. Before he can reveal it, however, Sera takes Grace and leaves, knowing it could cost Grace's life and refusing to let her learn of it.

In Chapter 5.III, Sera proposes to Grace with the Binary Star, an engagement sword forged for her, during one of their concerts at the Clash of Twilight. Grace happily accepts, and the two kiss as they affirm their love for each other.

In Chapter 5.IV, although STΔRLIVHT is struggling on many fronts, Grace notes she's the happiest she's ever been, having begun moving into an apartment with her soon-to-be wife Sera. Despite this, she's unable to stop thinking about the special attack Stornel mentioned, knowing it is likely an attack that sacrifices the user's life. Unsure of what to do, she discusses it with Kelp, deeply afraid of the events ahead. Ultimately, she decides to learn the attack as a surefire way to defeat Gaius should things go wrong, and changes into her stage outfit before heading back to the Antiphon Building.

However, as she arrives, Producer suddenly appears before her, warning her not to go further. Her sudden appearance causes Grace to realize the truth about the simulated world she inhabits. Producer attempts to tell her to go back again, saying she can be a hero with Sera forever, but Grace refuses. At a standstill, the two realize there are no other options but to fight.

Grace defeats Producer, who notes she's as strong as the real Grace. Grace herself says she only won because, deep down, Producer wanted Grace to set her back on the right path. Producer plans to exit the simulation, and tells Grace she'll forget the past few minutes had happened. The two wish each other luck on their missions as the memories of the battle slip from Grace, who resumes her real mission; finding Stornel and learning of the Final Burst.

In Chapter -1.IV, Grace appears before Joker again as she is defeated as Genbu. She assures her she had always had a strong will, and that if she can say goodbye to the past, she can see her friends again in the future. Determined to end the cycles, Joker continues on her mission.

Chapter VS

In VS Prelude, Grace finds Stornel waiting for her return at the labs. She asks Stornel why he's helping them, which he says is out of revenge for Gaius ending his life. While he cannot provide them equipment or upgrades, he can tell them of a power they already have. Grace asks if this is a power that costs the user's life, which he confirms. While Grace doesn't want to use it, she's willing to learn it if it means she can protect her friends. Before she can, however, Sera interrupts, telling Grace she doesn't have to be the one to use it. Grace is unwilling to ask Sumire or Hakuno to do it, however, and refuses to back down. At a standstill, the two enter conceptual time and prepare to duel, Grace manifesting the Binary Star as her weapon.

In Chapter VS.1 and 2, Grace clashes against Sera, struggling to attack her in fear of her wife getting hurt. Sera demands she stops holding back, pulling her into a passionate kiss. Grace reprocates, and for a moment the conflict ends before the two resume their duel. Despite this, Grace still remains afraid of what lies ahead if she isn't strong enough. As she struggles, she remembers the true reason she wanted to be a hero; because a hero can face the impossible odds over and over again and claim victory every time. Steeling her resolve, Grace stops holding back and ends her duel with Sera.

As Grace stands over Sera, Sera acknowledges her power and how Grace has grown. Grace helps her back up, but tells her she still plans to learn the Final Burst. Sera asks her to come back to their apartment when she's done, and leaves. Grace agrees, and learns the Final Burst from Stornel.

Grace arrives home to Sera, comforting her as she cries. Grace assures her that, even if she does die, she'll find a way to reunite with Sera no matter what, so long as Grace can be hers. Sera promises, and the two extend the vows they made to forever.

In VS Postlude, Grace and Sera arrive to work alongside Sumire and Hakuno, all of them exhausted. The group each explains their respective battles, though Sera doesn't tell Producer about Grace learning the Final Burst. Producer decides to give them the day off, and Grace heads off with Sera to grab burgers.

As Grace arrives home from practice late, her mother begins reheating her dinner for her. Grace apologizes for not saying anything, but Lily says she's used to these things. The two talk about practice, with Lily telling Grace she's proud of how far she's come. Grace admits that being an idol is scary, but she's never afraid enough that she can't do it because of her friends by her side. Her dinner finishes reheating, and Grace digs in.

At the final concert, the group prepare for their final performance. Grace shares how happy becoming an idol has made her alongside the others, as she loves being able to inspire others. The four perform their group chant before walking on stage to deliver their final performance.

After the concert, the four gather together in Producer's office to see the results. As the clock ticks down, the site updates and reveals the Clash of Twilight has ended in a tie. Surprised, but happy with the results, the group celebrates. Grace suggests they celebrate with food. Sera asks her if this is just an excuse to eat big, which Grace confirms. Sera decides to go with it anyways, and suggests they hit up the arcade after.

Chapter 6 (TH)

The day before their final battle, Producer notices the artificial Noise Beasts have been disabled. Taking it as a sign that Gaius is inviting them to finish things, the group agree to meet up tomorrow with Producer to defeat Gaius once and for all.

The group arrive to the basement of the Antiphon Building, ready to fight. As Stornel is defeated and Gaius takes the NOISZ from him, Grace and Sera face off against him. Gaius is seemingly defeated after being distracted by an attack from Producer, but Producer suddenly warns them he isn't dead yet. Grace deflects a black sword with the Binary Star as Gaius emerges from the smoke, having imprinted onto himself using the NOISZ. Determined to stop Gaius, Grace buys time for the group to recover as she deflects his barrage of swords. Producer then calls out to STΔRLIVHT to link with her as she fights Gaius herself.

As Producer is defeated, however, the pain of Gaius' attack on her spreads to the rest of STΔRLIVHT. Despite this, Grace manages to stand up again. Sera tells her to use the Final Burst, but Grace refuses; Stornel told her using it would consume her entire soul, leaving nothing to return to Sera with. Valuing the promise they made above everything, Grace stands and begins deflecting the rain of swords again. Ultimately, however, she is pierced by six swords, and dies.

As Grace dies, she catches a glimpse of another world entirely. Swearing to return to Sera, she steals the concept of magic and uses it to reanimate herself as a NOISZ Beast. Her RS addresses her as Genbu, but she refutes this, saying she's still entirely herself.

Grace awakens in Sera's arms, swearing to never leave Sera again. She asks Sera to help her remove the swords from her body. As the two them out, they are reshaped into a form of their power, resembling the Binary Star. Grace dubs them the Binary Black Hole-a connection strong enough to transcend death itself. As the final sword is removed and reshaped, Hakuno alerts them to Gaius' seemingly resurrecting after Producer's attack. Producer explains that he's been possessed by Alpha, and says she'll fight him. Grace, knowing Producer used the Final Burst, decides to join her. The rest of STΔRLIVHT also join, although Producer warns them that Grace's NOISZ Beast aura could damage them. They decide to link up anyways, performing their group chant one more time as Grace and Producer move to defeat Gaius once and for all.

Grace and Producer drive one of the Binary Black Holes into Gaius' chest, draining the yellow color from his armor and leaving a green hue behind. Grace wonders if Gaius had been like her once, and how he'd fallen onto this path. Regardless, she refuses to forgive him for his crimes, and pulls out the Binary Black Hole as Producer kicks his body into the portal, sealing him into the void.

Producer congratulates the group for their victory, but brings terrible news; Alpha, the Noise Beast they'd just fought, will return in two years. Although another hero will seemingly defeat her, she will trick them and escape. To stop her, STΔRLIVHT will fake their deaths and hide for the next two years in a lab outside of town, where they will rest in stasis to heal off any contamination from Grace's NOISZ Beast aura and ensure they're in top shape for the fight. Grace offers to stay awake, seeing as she's become a real NOISZ Beast, in case the plan fails. The group leave the building into an autocar planned ahead of time, where Grace tells her parents she'll be gone for two years in order to save the world.

As they arrive to the stasis room, Sera declares she wants to have her wedding with Grace here, wanting Grace to have the memory to hold onto for the next two years. The group agree, and Sera and Grace manifest wedding dresses using the NOISZ for the ceremony. Eventually, the moment ends, and the three girls are put into sleep.

Alone, Grace asks Producer why she didn't tell them she would die. Producer explains there will be another version of her when she wakes up, who will have her memories and personality. She asks Grace to treat her the same as her, even though she'll know she isn't. Grace agrees, and apologizes for not using the Final Burst herself. Producer tells her they each made their own choices, and asks her how she revived herself. Grace calls it magic; she stole the concept of magic from another world and used it to revive herself. Producer accepts the explanation before warning Grace that, when she dies, Arietta will regain control of her body; while Arietta is a good person at heart, Alpha is sealed within her eye, and Grace cannot allow Alpha to learn that STΔRLIVHT is alive. Grace agrees, saying she'll act as a regular NOISZ Beast until the time comes.

With one minute left, Grace asks Producer if there's anything she wants to do. Producer says she wants to sing, and Grace listens to her as she dies.

NOISZ Final

Two years later, the main character of NOISZ arrives at the lab, looking for STΔRLIVHT. Grace confronts them as Genbu, claiming STΔRLIVHT is dead. The main character attempts to invoke code 0401-Grace's birthday. Despite recognizing it as such, she refuses to let them pass. At an impass, the two duel.

After the fight, Grace drops her act as a NOISZ Beast, assured the main character is truly here to awaken STΔRLIVHT for the final battle. She apologized for her stubbornness, admitting she was afraid of trusting her judgement after waiting for so long. The two then head back to the stasis room to awaken the rest of STΔRLIVHT.

Standing before the stasis tanks, Grace admits she wondered if they'd ever reach this point, having held onto her memories and emotions for this day. The tanks open, and Grace immediately goes to silently embrace Sera.
