A Void Beast is a Noise Beast whose body has been augmented using NOISZ Beast technology. Void Beasts typically resemble a mix between a Noise Beast's purified and unpurified forms. The procedure must be completed on a living Noise Beast, and the completion of the procedure results in the Noise Beast's death. Void Beasts cannot be purified using the NOISZ; the only way to stop one is to kill it.
The Void Beast technology was proposed by Arietta Antiphon, who was possessed by Alpha. Remora was the one to develop the idea further under her orders. The resulting Void Beasts were used by Alpha in Beyond and Arietta's fused body.
