After Yashiro outs Hakuno to the press, Hikari and Asuka are seen at a bar, with Asuka drinking heavily to cope. Hikari forces her to stop and orders her some water. Asuka wonders if they'll be forced to throw the competition for Shion's sake, but Hikari disagrees. She says that while STΔRLIVHT may lose several fans, they'll gain more, real fans in the process.

As SUNRaiSE continue practice after Yashiro outed Hakuno, the group struggle to move forward. Shion calls practice for the night as the group express their disgust with what Yashiro has done. Hikari and Asuka assure Shion that they'll stick with her no matter what as the group heads out.
In VS Postlude, Yumi is staying over at Asuka's place for a night. Yumi claims that she and Asuka aren't officially dating yet, but are trying things out at the moment.
 
At the final show of the Clash of Twilight, SUNRaiSE watches in awe at STΔRLIVHT's performance. As Shion grows worried about SUNRaiSE's performance, Hikari and Asuka reassure her that they'll all do their best. Shion regains her confidence, and the group take the stage.
 
As SUNRaiSE try to figure out their next move after the competition ends in a tie, they are contacted by Sera's mother, [[Setsuna Hoshikawa|Setsuna]]. Setsuna tells them to break their contract with Bakeneko, offering to pay off any fees involved. Hikari questions what she gains from this, to which Setsuna says she simply hates Yashiro and wants SUNRaiSE to slip away so he cannot profit off the historic tie. Setsuna also tells Shion to start collecting the money from her idol career, offering one of her lawyers if Yashiro refuses to give her the money. She wishes the girls a nice day and hangs up.
 
SUNRaiSE explodes at the realization they can be free of Yashiro, with Asuka being especially excited to go independent again.
