Chapter 0

Asuka and Hikari Aoki perform as SUNRaiSE at the Budo Garden, though note that something is missing - the presence of Yumi Hitori, the group's former lead, but the two decide to aim for the top anyway. |}

Chapter 1

Uncertain for the future of SUNRaiSE, Asuka and Hikari sign the group onto Bakeneko, a record label owned by Yashiro Nekoda. He becomes their manager and agrees to provide them with a new center.

Chapter 2

Asuka meets her group's new center, Shion Nekoda, and gets to know her; she finds Shion's seriousness adorable, perhaps even "baby". However, conflict arises between Shion and her sister Hakuno, and Asuka comforts her new captain, supporting Shion's fervor in her decision to crush STΔRLIVHT. SUNRaiSE's redebut is a massive success, and Asuka does her best to mediate between STΔRLIVHT, Shion and Hikari's different attitudes to the situation.

Chapter 3

Asuka, Hikari and Shion send tickets for their show to STΔRLIVHT, and wish Sumire Hitori a speedy recovery.

Chapter 4

Asuka and Hikari resolve to find a way to free Shion from Yashiro's controlling influence, and decide to do whatever it takes to help their captain, SUNRaiSE or no.

Chapter 5

Asuka takes part in the Clash of Twilight competition against STΔRLIVHT along with Shion and Hikari as part of SUNRaiSE; Hikari and Asuka tell STΔRLIVHT they intend to lose the competition so SUNRaiSE will disband, freeing Shion from Yashiro, though they tell STΔRLIVHT that they don't intend to go easy either out of respect for their fans. She reassures Shion again that she cares for her.

Later on, in Chapter 5.II, Hikari provides reassurance on Asuka's unresolved feelings for Yumi. Later on, Asuka checks up on Yumi, asking if disbanding SUNRaiSE is really the right thing to do. Yumi agrees, figuring out that it's for the sake of its new lead Shion, and agrees. The two of them catch up and Asuka invites her to dinner sometime after the two catch up, though fails to confess her feelings.

Chapter 5 (TH)

After Yashiro outs Hakuno to the press, Hikari and Asuka are seen at a bar, with Asuka drinking heavily to cope. Hikari forces her to stop and orders her some water. Asuka wonders if they'll be forced to throw the competition for Shion's sake, but Hikari disagrees. She says that while STΔRLIVHT may lose several fans, they'll gain more, real fans in the process.

Chapter VS

As SUNRaiSE continue practice after Yashiro outed Hakuno, the group struggle to move forward. Shion calls practice for the night as the group express their disgust with what Yashiro has done. Hikari and Asuka assure Shion that they'll stick with her no matter what as the group heads out. In VS Postlude, Yumi is staying over at Asuka's place for a night. Yumi claims that she and Asuka aren't officially dating yet, but are trying things out at the moment.

At the final show of the Clash of Twilight, SUNRaiSE watches in awe at STΔRLIVHT's performance. As Shion grows worried about SUNRaiSE's performance, Hikari and Asuka reassure her that they'll all do their best. Shion regains her confidence, and the group take the stage.

As SUNRaiSE try to figure out their next move after the competition ends in a tie, they are contacted by Sera's mother, Setsuna. Setsuna tells them to break their contract with Bakeneko, offering to pay off any fees involved. Hikari questions what she gains from this, to which Setsuna says she simply hates Yashiro and wants SUNRaiSE to slip away so he cannot profit off the historic tie. Setsuna also tells Shion to start collecting the money from her idol career, offering one of her lawyers if Yashiro refuses to give her the money. She wishes the girls a nice day and hangs up.

SUNRaiSE explodes at the realization they can be free of Yashiro, with Asuka being especially excited to go independent again.
