A cheerful, somewhat loudmouthed presence who fills rooms with infectious energy. Constantly online and can seem a bit vain, but actually has a big heart. Deceptively reliable, especially when her friends need her most. Aims to fulfill Yumi's dream of taking SUNRaiSE to the top, no matter what it takes.

Asuka is a member of SUNRaiSE and has been for the past seven years, under the lead of both Yumi and Shion. Sometimes, she comes off as having a blasé attitude, but this is a result of her strong will and high confidence. She is an optimistic person, seeing the silver lining wherever she can; as a result, she can often be the equaliser in any situation arising from a clash of personalities.

However, her caring side is far from hidden when it comes down to it, and she shows the same concern for her embattled leader Shion as Hikari does and for Yumi's well-being.

History

Asuka has been friends with Yumi and Hikari since their school days, and eventually formed SUNRaiSE with them, to Eito Hojo's displeasure. Although she always disliked Eito, she was reluctant to step in and voice concerns out of a fear that her disapproval stemmed from her feelings for Yumi.
