Grace's mother, whose kind and soft exterior hides an incredibly strong spirit. After having her child at 16, she was abandoned by everyone close to her, and worked ceaselessly to create her own fairly normal family life. She tries to support Grace in any way she can, and the two have built a surprising bond of trust.[1]
Lily has had a difficult life, following a near-impossible personal decision, but still faces everyone with warmth and kindness. Knowing how hard it is to take on the world alone, she's determined to support Grace no matter what.[2]
Story
Lily first appears in Chapter 0.III after Grace collapses on stage. Grace reassures her she's alright, and Lily offers to let Sera stay for the night, which she does.
In Chapter 2.I, she and Grace discuss what makes a hero; Lily says that while she thinks what Firebird is doing is right, she knows Grace doesn't want to be that kind of hero, and encourages her to be a hero in her own way. The two then discuss Grace's relationship with Sera, as Grace expresses that she doesn't want to lose the friendship she had with Sera. Lily tells her to talk to Sera about it, assuring her Sera wants her to be happy.
Lily briefly appears in Chapter 5.IV of True Heroes as Grace leaves to return to the Antiphon building.
In VS Postlude, Grace and Lily discuss STΔRLIVHT's recent shows as Lily reheats dinner for Grace. She tells Grace how proud she and Touma are of how far she's come.
In Chapter 6.IV, Grace tells her and Touma that she'll be gone for two years to save the world.
History
Lily became pregnant with Grace when she was 16; at the time, she was told by the people around her not to keep the pregnancy. However, she decided to keep it, and in the time that followed, she lost her family, her boyfriend, and her friends.
Several years later, she began to work at a bar where she met Touma. The two hit it off quickly, and Lily tells him when she works if he wants to talk with her again. He does, and the two eventually begin dating.
Several months into dating Touma, Lily finally tells him about Grace, and eventually takes him home to meet her.
