The ARIA and Sonic Blade
Their primary function is for transport between worlds: the Sonic Blade cuts open the path, and the ARIA protects him in the space between.[1]
The ARIA is a circular device designed to protect the user from the energy of other worlds. The Sonic Blade is a red laser dagger that cuts a path to other worlds. Both were created by Gaius Antiphon during his spare time in his dorm room.
Both of the devices can be used in combat; however, they are weaker than the NOISZ. Gaius Antiphon wields them in NOISZ episode G.
Unlike the NOISZ, the ARIA and Sonic Blade consumes the user's hopes and dreams in order to function. Hopes and dreams are less renewable as resources than the soul, and they often cannot be recovered when lost, leading to an empty, hollow life for it's user.
