Main Character (NOISZ)/Story
2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: My Heart's Reflection
As Han, they meet the members of the Flaming Pride Friendship Squad in middle school - Hakuno Nekoda, Rhyme and Sumire Hitori - attending weekly LGBTQ+ club meetings and out of school hangouts with them until the club is forcibly disbanded. Even after middle school ends and everyone moves away, they all keep in contact afterwards via group chat, even during the events of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT.NOISZ Ignition
One night, while on the way home from the arcade, the main character is attacked by a Noise Beast. Beyond gives them the NOISZ to defend themself with. After defeating the Noise Beast, they attempt to ask her more about the NOISZ, but she disappears before they can.
The next day, the main character continues to fight and purify Noise Beasts until they are suddenly teleported to the World of Music.
In Story A, they get help from the local Noise Beasts in returning home. After returning to the human world, Arietta promises to give them information if they fight Seiryu. They do so, and Arietta explains that she and Beyond were using them to harvest energy to repair their bodies, and that the NOISZ had been consuming their soul. Soon, a giant suit of armor appears and attacks the main character. It forcibly absorbs the power they had gained from the NOISZ, and they black out.
In certain stages, the main character will see a caped girl wielding two massive swords before their vision fades.
In Story B, the main character ends up completely destroying Karin. This gets the attention of Arietta, who guides them through the World of Music toward their next targets. After destroying a robotic jester and a pegasus Noise Beast, she then directs them back to the human world by claiming their friends are under attack. There, on the beach, the main character defeats three NOISZ Beasts. They become more and more bloodthirsty with each defear until their soul has been completely consumed by the NOISZ. Arietta and Beyond convert them into a NOISZ Beast to continue harvesting energy.
In Story C, the main character gets help from the locals in returning home. When reaching Marziale's castle, they are confronted with Arietta who asks them to follow after her.
After defending the other Noise Beasts from aggressive, corrupted Noise Beasts, they travel with Karin to the human world. They defeat Seiryu, and Arietta explains that she and Beyond were using them to harvest energy to repair their bodies, and that the NOISZ had been consuming their soul. She then explains Seiryu was a NOISZ Beast, a fallen NOISZ user reanimated to continue serving them.
The main character and their friends get increasingly enraged at Arietta. Arietta traps Karin in a containing device as she lashes at her. As Beyond finally arrives, Arietta summons Suzaku and Byakko to protect herself, but the group is interrupted by the arrival of a massive suit of armor. The main character barely manages to defeat it, seeing a vision of Beyond and Arietta's father begging them to save his daughters.
The main character then fights Suzaku and Byakko.
Beyond insists that something is wrong with Arietta and tries to stop the main character from fighting her. The entity possessing Arietta takes advantage of Beyond's exhaustion from the fight to enter into her body. She uses a containment device to drain the energy out of the main character's body.
They find themself within the Void. They manage to defeat a possessed Beyond after hearing everyone they had met before encourage them to keep fighting. Her form suffers critical instability, and in a desperate attempt to save her, Arietta uses her own NOISZ to absorb Beyond's energy, egged on by the entity still possessesing her. The two fuse into a single body, now controlled by the entity that possessed them both. She threatens the main character before leaving through the cracks in space, taking the Noise Beasts with her.
NOISZ re:||VERSE
Three weeks later, the main character travels with Stornel and Karin to the World of Music through the basement portal at the Antiphon building. The three intend to stop Alpha from eradicating music, and all art along with it. The main character fights through several of Alpha's Void Beasts, including a converted Wolf-Girl, Stella, and Luna, through the World of Music and Marziale's castle to reach the portal at the throne room.
As they arrive at the throne room, they are attacked by Karin, who reveals she was actually Alpha using imprinting to disguise herself as a deceased Karin. After the fight, she calls the main character to the Void for one final fight. They fight Stornel and receive the ability to imprint themselves before heading off to fight Alpha. They wield either the power of Beyond (Blue Route) or Arietta (Red Route) to finally defeat her. Depending on the route, they are asked by Beyond or Arietta to save their dying sister, or revive the fallen Noise Beasts/repair the boundary between worlds.
In re:||VERSE Endings 1-3 they are severed from the NOISZ as they make their wish, the device exploding from the strain put on it. Somehow, this does not kill them, which the main character speculates was Stornel protecting them.
In Endings 1A and 1B, they meet up with Beyond and Arietta at a popular café to catch up with two.
In Ending 2, they meet up with Arietta in the World of Music to catch up with her. Wolf-Girl asks to live with them due to her amnesia, which they accept.
In Ending 3, they meet up with Beyond and Remora at Antiphon to check up on Beyond.
In Ending 4, they revive everyone and repair the boundary, all while keeping the NOISZ. They meet up with everyone at a popular café.
NOISZ Final
Note the following only follows Endings 1-3 of re:||VERSE.
One night, after the events of re:||VERSE, the main character begins dreaming of Alpha. Suspecting these are visions, they call Remora about the situation. Remora reveals that she had been studying the remains of the NOISZ, and that the NOISZ had been using a piece of Alpha's power. Despite this, Remora believes she had learned of this beforehand, and had planned ahead for this outcome, revealing that STΔRLIVHT had been a group of NOISZ users. The main characters asks if they can help. Remora asks them if they are sure, being the only person to escape their situation alive. They confirm they do, especially if STΔRLIVHT is involved, and Remora begins preparing a NOISZ/RS for them.
After finding the truth of STΔRLIVHT's battle against Gaius, the main character is sent out in an autocar to awaken STΔRLIVHT in a lab outside of the city. When they arrive, they are stopped by Genbu, who tells them STΔRLIVHT is dead. The main character attempts to invoke Code 0401, which Genbu seems to recognize. Despite this, Genbu is adamant STΔRLIVHT is dead, and seeing no other options, the main character fights her.
After the fight, Grace drops her act as a NOISZ Beast, apologizing to the main character about the fight. She then leads them to the stasis chamber, where STΔRLIVHT is awoken. Hakuno and Sumire immediately recognize the main character as Han, though they say they go by a different name now. As the three catch up, the main character wonders if they had been brought back together like this by fate for their last battle against Alpha.
