Eito Hojo was Yumi Hitori's abusive ex-boyfriend; he was incarcerated for domestic violence.
Story
NOISZ STΔRLIVHT
Chapter 1
| In a news article, Eito is released from prison early on good behaviour in Chapter 1.III, cited as a "model inmate" by prison staff and seemingly repentant for his crimes, causing Sumire enough distress that Hitori fronts in her place. |
Chapter 3
| In another news article in Chapter 3.I, after being released from prison, Eito broke into Yumi's apartment in an attempt to murder her; however, he was stopped by Firebird, and after a brief altercation he was killed after Firebird ran him through with a flaming sword. |
History
Eito became Yumi's boyfriend at some point while she was in the 9th grade; she notes that at the time he did not show any signs of being abusive, though her friends Asuka and Hikari did not like him.
Eventually, Yumi talked of forming an idol group with Hikari and Asuka, which would go on to become SUNRaiSE; Eito did not like this, however, and asked her not to go through with it repeatedly. He grew jealous and possessive of Yumi, stating that she "belonged to him".
Two years before the events of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT[1], Eito assaulted Yumi, leaving her in a wheelchair and ending her career. Afterward, he was incarcerated for domestic violence on a charge of felony assault.
