SUNRaiSE's original leader, a legendary idol once known as the "Underground Queen". Though her previous works continue to inspire many, she's become a quiet, reclusive person who has a hard time trusting others. Lives alone with her younger sister Sumire. Despite all that she has been through, Yumi Hitori still tries her very best to be a sweet, kindhearted person; while she often has a calm, lowkey demeanour, she still tries to raise up others where she can and offer advice, and still attends STΔRLIVHT and SUNRaiSE's concerts whenever she can.

Chapter 1

Yumi first appears in Chapter 1.III, after Hitori wakes up; Yumi greets him and offers support as a big sister, though he brushes off her concern.

Chapter 2

Yumi and Producer watch the redebut show of SUNRaiSE under new lead Shion Nekoda from the wheelchair accessible section, and the two of them talk, with Yumi commenting on her own status as a recluse, though assures Producer that she's fine with the crowd. Yumi tears up upon watching SUNRaiSE's performance, proud of her group and her old friends Asuka and Hikari.

Chapter 3

Depending on the player's choices, Hakuno may opt to check up on Hitori in Chapter 3.II, and if Rhyme is invited as well, Hitori allows them all to come over, and Yumi invites them in.

Chapter 5

Asuka checks up on Yumi in Chapter 5.II, asking if disbanding SUNRaiSE is really the right thing to do. Yumi agrees, figuring out that it's for the sake of its new lead Shion, and agrees. The two of them catch up and Asuka invites her to dinner sometime after the two catch up, though fails to confess her feelings.

History

Yumi was an idol in the original incarnation of SUNRaiSE with Asuka and Hikari; she has been friends with them since their school days.

Eventually, she entered a relationship with Eito Hojo, to Asuka and Hikari's concern; while it started out normally at first, Eito eventually became controlling and abusive, and 2 years before the events of NOISZ STΔRLIVHT, he assaulted Yumi, leaving her unable to walk and ending her career.

Trivia

• In No Hints Here!, during the platforming and free-roam sections, Yumi will be featured in her wheelchair, with her movement being more slippery and her jump being replaced with a stretch function that pushes her up.
