Story

STΔRLIVHT's way out of the lab has been cut off, and so they follow Beyond along a longer path, noting the lab's containment functions for the powerful Noise Beasts it encloses.

The five of them hear footsteps, and as a precaution, enter conceptual time; however, the footsteps continue. Beyond calls another person with her communicator, addressing them as Beyond, and informs them that one of the NOISZ Beasts has escaped. The voice tells Beyond that she'll handle it, though it'll take a few minutes, and advises them to avoid engagement - though notes that if it's unavoidable, the units are expendable, if STΔRLIVHT is capable of killing them.

The footsteps round the corner, and before them is a girl, Genbu, with a perfect resemblance to Grace, but with snow-white hair, and green, white and grey armour, as well as a green and grey visor covering her eyes.

Beyond notes this as the worst case scenario, though the voice over the communicator is unable to speed things up, and simply wishes the group luck in fighting their new opponent. Genbu states her intention is to protect, and aims to eliminate the "threat", STΔRLIVHT; Grace faces off against her, and Genbu tells her to show her how powerful she is. Grace is victorious, and Genbu falls to the ground, motionless.

Grace questions the situation, though Beyond tells her she's in no position to ask; Grace turns around and sees her holding a gun to Sera's head, commanding STΔRLIVHT to do as she says. A single large machine in the lab lights up, and Beyond tells them to get inside, promising their safety if they do. The four enter, and the scene ends.

The next scene is the unknown speaker being interrogated once more, stating that there's no way things happened that way; Beyond tells them that the story may not be what they remember through all of the lies. The speaker insists this recollection of events is false, citing their lack of presence at the lab, and concludes that if Beyond doesn't remember either, then these aren't anyone's memories at all. Beyond concurs, noting that this recollection is an "extrapolation"; the most likely explanation of facts.

The speaker remains in the dark, and asks Beyond what she was doing at the end; she is not sure either, but comments that it was an effective enough bluff. She proceeds with the procedure, unwilling to "risk contamination", and puts the unknown speaker back to sleep.

In the next scene, the members of STΔRLIVHT file into the office, having completed their checkups with Beyond. They tell Producer that it was tiring, though uneventful, and Producer sends them home for the day to get some rest.

Producer receives an email titled "The Clash of Twilight", and the scene ends with her noting how those words heralded the beginning of the end.
