Shion talks about the Clash of Twilight in the Bakeneko office with Asuka and Hikari - a competition between SUNRaiSE and STΔRLIVHT where the loser is forced to disband - and expresses doubt, despite having been told to do it by Yashiro. Asuka and Hikari urge her to go through with it, and thinking of her resolve to do anything to get Hakuno back, even if it means crushing her dreams, decides to go through with it.
Later on, Asuka and Hikari visit Sera in the STΔRLIVHT office, and tell her STΔRLIVHT needs to win the competition in order to force SUNRaiSE to disband and thus release Yashiro's control over Shion. Adding to this, they remind STΔRLIVHT that they won't go easy either, and urge them to step up their game in order to win.
In the next scene, Beyond urges Producer to get STΔRLIVHT to enter the competition and lose, however, citing the growth data: combined with Noise Beast incident rates, she says the time for the final battle is drawing near, and that they'll need to be well-hidden after killing Gaius Antiphon, though promises they'll be taken care of. Producer refuses, telling Beyond she wants to see them do their best as idols and will support them as their producer until the end. Beyond shrugs it off as a minor setback, telling Producer they can find some other way to handle it instead.
Some time later, STΔRLIVHT practice their new intense routines for the tour leading up to the Clash of Twilight as Sera becomes more demanding with her management. She has no criticism for Hakuno, however, who admits that she's finally found her reason to be an idol: being strong enough to do something for Shion. A Noise Beast appears in the studio, and Hakuno defeats it.
in the next scene, Beyond states to the unknown speaker that this is "the moment we'll always have to return to" as data interference grows stronger and the concept of truth is lost; that neither the equipment nor the person she is addressing is defective, but that the person she is addressing is the one hiding the truth of how it all ends.
The unknown speaker insists there's nothing left to hide, and that there's no point to further interrogation, pleading to be let go once more. Beyond refuses, stating that she knows the past she has been shown differs from reality. She states that what they've been shown is a recreation meant to jog the unknown speaker's memory - and that when it ends, reality will catch up with them: the reality that their life ended two years ago. She insists once more the speaker stop lying to themselves. The speaker replies, stating their name is Arietta, that STΔRLIVHT is dead, and that this is punishment for her betrayal of them.
Beyond tells them there aren't many cycles left, and asks them once more to tell her the truth.
