SUNRaiSE's new center, taking over Yumi's long vacant position. A hardworking girl who takes the group and herself very seriously, but the others love and view her as the group's babiest member. Can be incredibly stubborn. Will do anything to "bring Hakuno back", even if she has to crush STΔRLIVHT.

Shion Nekoda is a serious-natured girl who often feels the weight of the world on her shoulders; even with the support of her friends and bandmates Asuka and Hikari, she still struggles with issues stemming from her complex relationship with her sister Hakuno as well as their parents.

However, this is balanced out by an unbreakable will and fiery determination. She has a rivalry with Sera Hoshikawa, the lead of STΔRLIVHT; while this rivalry isn't actively hostile, they both know how to push each other's buttons, though they both understand the rivalry is in the name of staying in top form and working as hard as possible to keep on improving.

History

Shion features in 2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: My Heart's Reflection; while Hakuno is still living in the same house as her, they have a very strong relationship as siblings. As a preteen, Shion was very energetic and excitable, to the point Hakuno found it a bit much; she described Shion as "tiny, cute, and has an infectious personality that could light up the room".

However, when Hakuno was kicked out of the house for coming out as trans to their parents, Shion was told nothing, and was left wondering why Hakuno had suddenly vanished. Shion messaged Hakuno, to no response, and Shion eventually became desperate, pleading for Hakuno to come back.

None of Shion's messages were answered, and she started to feel abandoned. Under her parents' thumb as the only child left, their supervision grew oppressive, and Shion's bubbly personality became significantly more muted. They disparaged Hakuno frequently, and even though Shion knew it wasn't true, she eventually began to internalise it, piece by piece.
