Story
Gaius wakes up inside of the Void. His memory of the World of Music and the ARIA and Sonic Blade is gone, as Marziale promised.
A faceless woman appears before Gaius. She claims to have met him before, having watched as he realized what he had done before erasing his memory of the encounter. She lays claim to Gaius' discarded hopes and dreams. He attempts to resist, though she notes he is doomed to fail.
She introduces herself as Alpha, then asks him to show her his last, futile resistance.
After the fight, Gaius suffers excruciating pain. Alpha assures him she won't kill him, calling it a waste, as she grabs him by his neck. She expresses her surprise that Gaius would use a device like the ARIA when he knew it would consume his hopes and dreams. Alpha describes a future without hopes and dreams: even with everything one could ever want, it will never be enough-he will take and take from the people around him to fill the emptiness inside him, but it won't mean anything to him. Gaius doesn't know what she's talking about, but feels a sense of regret. She delights in this future misery of his, thanking him for writing a wonderful first act of her masterpiece.
She gifts Gaius a Void Crystal, a fragment of her power, as she foretells how Gaius will put it into his greatest creation, the NOISZ, on a whim. She notes that in the worlds she's seen like this one, she has never done something like this.
Miria barges in, demanding she let go of him. Alpha releases him and retreats, allowing her to save Gaius and return him to the human world.
Gaius awakens in his bed, dismissing the events as a nightmare. At school, when Gaius arrives in the study hall, Miria appears and asks if she can study with him. He thinks this is a pain, but agrees to it anyway.
An older Gaius reminisces about what happened next. He wishes that Miria could have saved him, but unfortunately, it isn't so. He still maintains that the bit of happiness he shared with Miria was real, and hopes that someday she will believe that again.
This concludes episode G.
If you reach a certain grade and amount of Overflow in the credits, a scene plays afterward:
Gaius is brought back to reality, dying as a massive blade pierces through his chest. He wishes he valued his hopes and dreams more, as he realizes the life he lived wasn't truly living. A girl in green pushes the sword in deeper and asserts that despite knowing he wasn't always like this, she won't forgive him for what he's done. As his life slips away, he muses on his regrets, and tells Arisa that he's proud of her and her sister. Arisa says farewell to her father. Then, Gaius loses consciousness as the sword is pulled out and he's thrown into the Void.
