Story
The story begins with Sera's perspective of the events of Chapter 3; Grace enters late and meekly sits into her chair after being told off by the teacher. As the other students turn to their unsubtly hidden phones, Sera's thoughts turn to summer plans, and again to how different things seem between her and Grace lately; like Grace, Sera too begins to wonder whether the two really are forever.
She breaks out of her reverie to realise not only had she been staring into space in Grace's direction, Grace is now looking back at her, to Sera's own embarrassment. She waves back at Grace and turns back to her "relaxing" mathematics work, though finishes early, and receives a notification from Grace:

hey sera
Sera decides to play it cool when she responds:
Sera
what's up :)
Grace
this is uhh random? kinda? but is there anyone you like
Sera panics, though realises it's likely because of Yoko's "interview":
Sera
? oh...is this bc yoko posted that thing
Grace
i guess but also like... we don't really girl talk much lately, i wanna know about my best friend
She realises she's made Grace worry, and wonders if she should confess her feelings already. She types "i like you" into the text box and stares at it for a while before concluding it'd be interpreted as "I like you as a friend". She erases it and types "i lo", though erases that too, deciding to tell her face-to-face:
Sera
it's embarrassing, we'll talk later
Sera starts to worry, compounded by the lack of a response. Grace yelping upon being called on by the teacher snaps Sera out of it, and Sera decides to focus on her work again, and the rest of the morning passes quickly.
As lunch starts, Grace heads for Sera's desk, wearing an atypically downcast expression; she apologises for her text, and tells Sera they don't have to talk about it now. Sera assures her that she's not mad, and that Yoko was blowing things out of proportion.
Grace tells Sera that she doesn't think anyone with any sense would turn her down, and the conversation returns to normal as they head to Akira's classroom to find him being mobbed by girls as usual, many of which are asking him about the rumours. Upon catching sight of Sera and Grace, he joins them and the three rapidly head to their usual lunch spot on the rooftop.
Breathing a sigh of relief, Akira and Grace compliment Sera and each other on their track record at music club. The three take out their lunches: Akira's lunch is a bento box with pork belly, hamburger steak and elegant dessert pastries (which Sera judges for having too much meat), Sera's is a simple salad with Thai peanut dressing and a side of carrots and grapes, and Grace has the bento box she bought earlier in Chapter 1.
The three discuss and eat their lunches, and Sera and Akira discuss their plans to clean the music clubroom after school; Sera goes to invite Grace, though she passes on it, claiming she has things to do at home. Moving on, Akira mentions he has something to ask Sera after school, to which Sera tells him he can tell her there and then.
Interrupting, Grace tells the two she needs to leave to go to the bathroom, leaving abruptly.
