Gaius Antiphon/Story
NOISZ Ignition
After his death, Gaius was trapped in the Void, where he lost both his body and mind. All that remained of him was his giant suit of armor and his remorse, wishing to destroy his creations.
Gaius sees the immense energy trapped within the main character's NOISZ and reaches out to it. This causes the main character to be suddenly transported to the World of Music, and for Gaius' armor to appear in the city and start rampaging. Beyond, exhausted and weak, runs away from the armor. Meanwhile, Arietta commands her NOISZ Beasts to fend off the armor.
In Story C (and Story Long A), the main character confronts the armor to protect their friends. In Story C, they are victorious. The armor fades away, and they absorb its energy. They hear Gaius' regret at what he'd done, knowing he can't help his daughters, and begs them to save his children.
In Story Long A, they fail to defeat the armor and subsequently die.

NOISZ STΔRLIVHT
Gaius' presence slowly grows throughout the story. His first appearance is in Chapter 2.IV. Sera sneaks into his office and points a handgun at him, which he laughs off. After Gaius' taunting, Sera shoots, and Stornel catches the airsoft pellet.
Sera tries to ask Gaius a few questions, mainly about Beyond, but Gaius scoffs at her ignorance. When Grace tries to link, Gaius promises to let Sera go if she leaves him alone. Reluctantly, she agrees to this.
"Beyond" reveals to the Producer that her plan is to have STΔRLIVHT kill Gaius Antiphon. She explains her main reason for doing so is to protect music from disappearing because of Gaius' callous solution to the Silencing, attempting to sever the connection between worlds.
In Chapter 6, STΔRLIVHT heads into the basement of the Antiphon building to confront Gaius and protect music. Gaius first sends Stornel out to fight the group before taking the NOISZ from him after his defeat. After Grace and Sera fight Gaius, he is seemingly defeated before several black swords emerge from the smoke. Grace shoves Sera out of the way and is impaled by Gaius' swords. She unleashes one last NOISZ Burst at Gaius and wishes goodbye to Sera, then dies. Gaius then reappears and taunts the remaining STΔRLIVHT members, claiming he has several more lives to go. The remaining girls respond by declaring their intention to finish him off for good and avenge Grace.
In Chapter 5.III of True Heroes, Gaius is briefly seen giving an interview about Antiphon's newest AI products. The interviewer asks about the concerns of these AI being able to control humans, which Gaius scoffs at; he claims that anyone afraid of such things should not install a neural chip in their brain in the first place. That said, all Antiphon AI are given a subroutine that deletes itself if it is detected controlling a human body. Gaius says to look forward to their new AI products, though backhandedly adds that they shouldn't invoke "idiotic science fiction scenarios".
At the end of VS Postlude, Gaius is seen ready to separate the worlds in a matter of days. He tells Stornel to shut down the replica Noise Beasts, which he does without question. Gaius questions this, to which Stornel confirms he wants Gaius dead. Stornel asks Gaius if he also seeks his own death, to which Gaius says he simply wants to see Arisa surpass him, as he would otherwise have to kill STΔRLIVHT himself.
In Chapter 6 of True Heroes, STΔRLIVHT enter the basement of the Antiphon building to confront Gaius. He addresses Arietta directly, claiming she'll understand her true talents once music is erased. He then commands Stornel to fight them.
After Stornel is defeated by Sumire and Hakuno, Gaius takes the NOISZ from him and uses it to fight Grace and Sera. During their fight, Producer fires her weapons at him, which he easily blocks. However, this gives Sera an opening to attack Gaius, seemingly killing him. However, Producer suddenly warns he isn't dead yet, and Grace narrowly deflects a black sword hurtling out of the smoke. Gaius himself then appears, surrounded by more of the black swords. He admits he wasn't sure if he'd have to use this function of the NOISZ- Imprinting. While Stornel did his best to hide the power from Gaius, he was ultimately able to discover the NOISZ was capable of it and use it for himself, using the souls of people who signed their life to Antiphon in exchange for free healthcare to fuel the power.
Though STΔRLIVHT is exhausted from their fight, they resolve to defeat him. Grace attempts to buy time for the group, deflecting the barrage of swords. Producer then activates her own NOISZ/RS, linking with the rest of the group to fight Gaius herself.
Ultimately, Producer is defeated, and the pain of his final attack spreads to the rest of STΔRLIVHT through their connection. Gaius declares that once STΔRLIVHT is dead and music is gone, he'll train Arietta properly to be his successor. However, Grace manages to struggle back to her feet, refusing to give in, and begins deflecting his attacks once more. She is unable to keep deflecting forever, though, and is struck by six blades and dies. Producer, understanding what must be done, fires the Final Burst at Gaius, completely obliterating him and the souls he collected.
After his supposed death, he is possessed by the Void Crystal within the NOISZ, sprouting black wings and chains from his back. Producer, fated to die from the Final Burst, and Grace, a NOISZ Beast who resurrected herself through love, take him on one last time.
The two pierce through Gaius with one of Grace's Binary Black Holes, causing the chains and wings to crumble and his suit to turn green as he dies. Showing remorse, Gaius says he won't ask for forgiveness, but is at least happy he could remember what truly mattered, and tells "Arisa" he's proud of her and her sister. Arietta says farewell to Gaius as she pulls the sword out of him and Grace kicks him into the void.
NOISZ episode G
Gaius travels to the World of Music using the ARIA and Sonic Blade. Upon arrival, he runs into Miria. Gaius is believed to be the subject of a prophecy about the first human to visit the World of Music bringing ruin to it, so she attacks him. However, she stops seeing him as a threat after the fight. She accompanies him as the two explore the World of Music together. Throughout their adventure, Gaius and Miria grow closer. Eventually, after a trip through Tacet Forest, Kristoph brings them to the castle. Marziale confronts them. She assures Miria she will send Gaius back to the human world after removing his memories.
After Miria performs the memory erasing procedure and kisses Gaius in the process, Marziale seals him in the Void. There, Gaius meets Alpha, who gives him the Void Crystal. Miria rescues him and returns him to the human world. He meets Miria again on his way to his classes, begrudgingly allowing her to follow him.
An older Gaius looks back on this time, wishing that Miria was able to save him, but saying the happiness he'd felt was real and hopes that Miria will believe it one day.
In the game's post-credits scene, Gaius Antiphon is brought back to reality as he has been impaled by a massive blade, returning his suit to the green hue it had before. As he is dying, he wishes that he'd treasured his dreams more, but is happy he could finally remember what was important to him. He asks Arisa to tell her sister that he's proud of both of them. Arisa says she'll think about it, then says goodbye. The girl in green pulls the sword out and Gaius is sent tumbling into infinite darkness.
