Ending 2 is considered "Stage 10D (Blue)" in-game, as the scenes that play out have the "Stage 10D" label on-screen. It is referred to as Ending 2 for ease of navigation, as Ending 1B is also considered "Stage 10D (Blue)" by the stage indicator.

As the main character channels the energy, remembering the fallen Noise Beasts they'd met, the NOISZ begins to overload. They suddenly see Stornel's soul one last time, and he promises to take care of things from here. The NOISZ is destroyed in the burst of energy, but the link to their soul is severed, allowing them to survive. The main character suspects Stornel had protected them.

The main character explains to Arietta that they feel a similar connection to Beyond as they did through the NOISZ when imprinting her. This connection to Beyond is calling them to the Void. Arietta mentions the potential risks still lurking in the Void, especially without the NOISZ, and says that she cannot ask them to do this. The main character still insists on trying. Arietta says that she knows someone who can help. Then, a teaser logo for NOISZ STΔRLIVHT appears.
