Characters

Story

The main character proclaims that they are tired of the fighting and distrust, and just want a dance-off. Alpha is amused by the notion that the main character could beat her in a dance-off. She then asks them to meet her at the Grand Championships of Dancing if they are serious about their challenge. She mentions that the championships take place at the ultimate party: the dance party at Party House.

They reminisce about their childhood as they vogue and sashay their way downtown. Dancing was their only escape from the hardship of growing up on the streets. They soon arrive at the Grand Championships of Dancing. All those who compete are here to make a future for themselves. Only a few succeed.

The Party House

They pull out their invitation and attempt to solve it.

If you successfully solve it, they express triumph that the invitation will stand before them and not living on the streets. They enter Party House and witness a dance party that surpasses even their wildest dreams. There's even free pizza. A younger Arietta offers pizza and tells the main character that the dance championships are in the backyard. They grab a slice of pizza before they head over there.

If you fail to solve it, the main character complains that the invitation is too hard and that no one can solve it. Immediately after they say this, Karin rejoices over solving the invitation. In response, the main character calls her "NERRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD."

Inside the Party House

Either way, they enter the backyard to see the action taking place. Alpha's in a dance-off against Stornel. Despite giving it all she's got, it's not enough. She falls to the ground, Stornel standing tall above her. Stornel tells her real dancers don't use the bar, then the police force barges in. Cop arrives onto the scene. She declares that terrible dancing is against the law. The cops then take her away for three consecutive life sentences in prison.

Then, Stornel greets the main character. He was the main character's only friend when they were growing up. Stornel says they've lost their way and wonder what happened to the version of them who fought for their sister. To which the main character asks simply "Who?"

After the fight, Stornel appears as his soul. His energy is drawn toward the main character. He states "I'm dying," to which the main character replies "lol"

Cop congratulates the main character on their victory. They feel their sister would be proud, then realizes that their sister died 10 years ago. They wonder what all this dancing has been for.

Trivia

  • Stage X7 continues some of the plotlines and running jokes from Stage X5, which was also a dance-off extra stage.
    • This includes being motivated by a sister of questionable existence, the "vogued and sashayed" line paralleling EX5's "vogue and waack" line, and the unusually casual tone that characters converse in.
  • Party House was created after the stock photo site the developers used accidentally provided them with a random photo of a house, a photo they did not buy nor request.[1]
The original stock photo used for the Party House
    • It was provided instead of the stock photo used for the Antiphon Build exterior.[2]
    • In response, the team altered the appearance of the house photo into the legendary Party House we see here today.
    • To quote k//eternal of Anarch Entertainment, "when life gives you house make party house."[3]
  • The "Do not use the bar" restriction has a practical effect: pressing Space bar on the keyboard will instantly kill you.
    • The bar in question references certain dance arcade games like Dance Dance Revolution and Pump It Up, which have a metal bar at the back of the game's dance stage to lean on while playing.
