Story Context

After defeating and purifying Wolf-Girl, Beyond directs the main character to the location of the next Noise Beast.

Wolf-Girl and the main character chat while waiting at a public pool. Eventually, as predicted, the Noise Beast appears.

Gimmicks

For large sections of Odyssey, the player has to navigate the gap between two streams of red bullets with blue bullets in the middle that swing across the field back-and-forth. A sweeping laser appears near smaller groups of red bullets with blue bullets in the middle.

Strategies

Harmonic Style is strongly recommended for this song. The balance of blue and red bullets lends to gaining Combo rapidly, especially on higher difficulties.

If you cannot use Harmonic, Crash Style is advised.

The relatively low BPM of Odyssey can make it difficult to properly time your shots. Equipping Core Module widens your timing window. Remember, you should aim to input your shot/shield when one of the orbs on the NOISZ is directly at the top of the player character. The base kick of the song is on time with the shot/shield window, so focus on that if you're struggling to keep the rhythm.
