2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: Forever My Diamond
Forever My Diamond details Grace and Sera's last few days of middle school before graduation, and Sera struggles with the feelings she has for Grace. However, newspaper club president Yoko Hinamori spreads the rumour that Sera is dating friend and music club co-president Akira, much to Grace's dismay.
Later on that day, Akira confesses to having feelings for Sera under the cherry blossom tree in the courtyard; however, she turns him down and confirms what he already knew - that she is in love with Grace. Under the blossom tree, Sera and Grace confess to each other, and kiss for the first time, becoming girlfriends.
NOISZ STΔRLIVHT
Chapter 0
After being signed to Antiphon, Sera and the rest of STΔRLIVHT perform their debut show at the Budo Garden; however, they have a narrow miss with a Noise Beast, though Beyond shows up and provides Grace with a NOISZ/RS, which she uses to defeat the Noise Beast.
Sera shows alarm when Grace faints, and continues to worry about her as she adjusts to the appearance of Producer and Beyond as her superiors. She openly distrusts both of them, warning Producer against letting anything happen to Grace; Producer insists she has no hidden motives, however.
Chapter 1
As STΔRLIVHT continue to settle into their routine, Noise Beast appearances continue, and Sera struggles with the workload of being the leader of STΔRLIVHT, and her doubts and fears for the future of the group between touring, the nature of the NOISZ, and Noise Beasts threatening everyone's safety. This comes to a head during the writing of a new song, causing an argument between her and Hakuno. Sera breaks down, and Grace advises and supports Sera.
Sera apologises to the rest of STΔRLIVHT, and they accept; Sera admits that she cannot handle the workload alone, and needs help doing so. They graciously accept, and tell her they don't follow her dream because they have to - because they want to, and that it's not just her dream, but all of their dreams.
Chapter 2
Sera continues to worry for Grace as they continue to fight Noise Beasts, and a heated argument between Hakuno and her sister in Chapter 2.II - new SUNRaiSE lead Shion Nekoda - sours relationships between STΔRLIVHT and SUNRaiSE as Shion resolves to crush STΔRLIVHT, taking on a much more antagonistic attitude towards Sera as she formally apologises for the row in Chapter 2.III.
In addition, Sera and Grace strengthen their relationship, discussing Grace's asexuality and her worries about their relationship; Sera assures her that she can be Grace's best friend as well as her girlfriend, and the two stay up all night talking.
In Chapter 2.IV, Sera runs out of patience with the layers of secrecy regarding the NOISZ and sneaks into Gaius Antiphon's office in the Antiphon Building, pointing a gun at his head and demanding answers on what Antiphon wants with them. He does not respond to this threat, and laughs; his bodyguard Stornel intercepts the bullet as Sera fires, out of options. Before anything else can happen, Sera is forced to focus her energy into remotely linking up with Grace's NOISZ/RS as a Noise Beast attacks her. Unmoved by her threat, Gaius lets her leave.
Later that night, Sera vaguely alludes to the encounter to Producer, though the two have two entirely different conversations, with Producer warning Sera not to go after Gaius.
Chapter 3
STΔRLIVHT is put on hiatus as Sumire becomes unavailable due to her DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) causes her to switch alters, with Hitori fronting in her place and Sumire nowhere to be found.
Later on, Sera discovers that Yashiro Nekoda is her father, making Shion and Hakuno her sisters; while her mother Setsuna reminds her genes aren't everything, the revelation brings Sera and Hakuno closer together.
Chapter 4
Sera urges Shion to make up with Hakuno, though quickly relents and instead simply thanks her for the tickets to the SUNRaiSE show in Chapter 3.III.
In Chapter 4.III and Chapter 4.IV, Beyond takes STΔRLIVHT to an Antiphon lab on the outskirts of town for a "checkup" on their souls, to assess their power as NOISZ users; however, the four of them are attacked by a Noise Beast set on them by Stornel, who had been waiting for them. Feeling it calling to her, Sera dispatches it, though the appearance of Genbu, a NOISZ Beast almost identical in appearance to Grace, catches them off guard.
Before they can react, Beyond holds a gun to Sera's head and tells STΔRLIVHT to enter a nearby machine; they do, and everything goes black.
Later on that day, STΔRLIVHT return to the office, and inform Producer that the checkup was uneventful; like getting a checkup at an ordinary doctor's practice.
Chapter 5
STΔRLIVHT is faced with a new challenge: the Clash of Twilight, a competition between SUNRaiSE and STΔRLIVHT, composed of a series of musical performances culminating in a joint performance, with mini-polls at each stop; whoever loses the polls overall is forced to disband. Soon after, Hikari and Asuka visit the STΔRLIVHT office and inform them that SUNRaiSE intend to lose - though won't go easy either, out of respect for their fans.
Sera steps up group practice, and STΔRLIVHT leads the polls until Hakuno's father Yashiro outs her as trans to the press to demoralise her and allow SUNRaiSE to gain a lead in the polls. Distraught, Shion also visits the STΔRLIVHT office, and offers to forfeit the competition; however, Sera refuses, telling Shion that they cannot let down their fans, to which Shion reluctantly agrees.
At the final show of the Clash of Twilight, Sera proposes to Grace with a sword she'd had specially forged for her - the Binary Star - and Grace says yes. Shining brighter than ever before, STΔRLIVHT put on the performance of their lives with and against SUNRaiSE.
STΔRLIVHT lose, and afterwards, they head to the Antiphon Building basement for the final battle with Gaius Antiphon.
Chapter 6
Sera and the rest of STΔRLIVHT face off in one final battle against Gaius Antiphon and his bodyguard, Stornel in the basement of the Antiphon Building - in front of the portal to the World of Music. While they appear to be successful, several swords emerge from the smoke, flying in Sera's direction; Grace pushes Sera out of the way and is impaled. Sera remembers all the time she'd spend with her fiancee as Grace dies in her arms, and as a young Gaius steps out of the portal in front of them; Sera vows to kill Gaius as many times as it takes to defeat him as Chapter 6 ends.
NOISZ STΔRLIVHT True Heroes
Chapter 5 (TH)
Sera, along with the rest of STΔRLIVHT, are called into Producer's office where she tells them of Beyond's plan to have them defeat Gaius to stop him from separating the World of Music from the human world. While Grace and Sumire are willing to fight, Sera and Hakuno are not, citing the dangers of fighting such a powerful foe. The group eventually returns to practice, though even Sera is distracted by the news.
She agrees to go on an espionage trip with Grace into Antiphon R&D to find something that can guarantee that STΔRLIVHT can defeat Gaius. When speaking alone with Producer, Sera admits that she didn't want this responsibility, and won't fight Gaius if she believes that something could happen to Grace.
The two walk into Antiphon R&D surprisingly easy, using a keycard provided by Beyond. Eventually, Sera notices they're being followed, and the two enter conceptual time. Sera approaches the figure, and it moves to attack, revealing itself to be a sentry robot. Grace offers to fight it, but Sera says she'll fight it in her stead.
After defeating the sentry, several more begin charging at the girls, but their fire is suddenly interrupted by Stornel. He leads the two to a nearby room where he disables the sentries. He then explains that he is a NOISZ Beast, resurrected to serve as Gaius' bodyguard, but he can regain some control of himself in R&D. Stornel claims that STΔRLIVHT won't be able to defeat Gaius as they are now, but he knows of something that will guarantee victory; a special attack built into every NOISZ. Before he can explain it, Sera suddenly takes Grace and leaves, knowing that it's likely something that will sacrifice the user's life, and refuses to allow Grace to learn of it.
After the lab trip, STΔRLIVHT returns to practicing for the Clash of Twilight, with Sera beginning to nitpick even Grace's moves. Although practice is going well, Sera is unable to stop thinking about what Stornel said, feeling that Grace knows the attack he spoke of was real. Unsure who to speak to, she decides to talk with her mother, who happens to be around.
Setsuna attempts to assure Sera that Grace loves her, and that she'd likely die for her, but Sera claims that is the problem; she wants Grace to value herself more. Setsuna tells her that sometimes all she can do is her best, and hope things work out; worrying about things she can't control is wasting her time. Sera is surprised at her mother's wisdom, and tries one of Setsuna's sandwiches she had made for dinner. Sera finds the meal somehow edible.
At the next show, Sera decides to propose to Grace, using an engagement sword she'd requested from her mother. Grace accepts, and the two kiss on stage.
Chapter VS
As Grace leaves to learn of the Final Burst, Sera follows her and interrupts her conversation with Stornel. She tells Grace she doesn't have to be the one to do it, as Sumire or Hakuno could also learn it if they need to use it. She says she'll ask them to use it, but Grace refuses to let her. At a standstill, the two decide to battle to determine who will learn it, Sera's power taking the form of a dragon.
As the two fight, Sera expresses disappointment in Grace holding herself back, knowing she is capable of more. She grabs Grace and pulls her into a passionate kiss, which Grace returns. When the moment ends, the two agree to fight for real. As Grace rediscovers her reason to be a hero, she manages to defeat Sera. While Grace says she'll defeat Gaius with her own power, she tells Sera she still plans to learn the Final Burst in case things go wrong. Sera resigns, asking Grace to come over when she's done, and leaves.
At home, Sera cries in fear of losing Grace. When Grace returns, Sera meets her at the door, where Grace comforts Sera. Grace swears that, no matter what happens, she'll return to Sera no matter what as long as Sera promises not to give up on her. Sera promises, and the two extend their vows to all of eternity.
The next day, Sera, along with the rest of STΔRLIVHT, come into the office exhausted from their previous battles. The group catch Producer up on the events of what happened, though Sera keeps her promise not to mention the Final Burst. Producer notes their sync data has gotten stronger, and gives the girls a day off to rest, where Sera decides to take Grace to a burger joint.
The next day, things have somewhat returned to normal, with STΔRLIVHT given free reign to focus on the Clash of Twilight. Sera, though she was thrown into fighting Noise Beasts and other dangerous foes, is grateful she has the chance to make her dream as an idol come true. As she finishes planning out a collaboration with a cafe, Sera suggests that they bring back their old choreography and songs from their days at HI-LIVE. The group agree, everyone determined to win the Clash of Twilight.
Back home, Sera finds that her mother has returned from her business trip early after Yashiro outed Hakuno to gain an edge in the competition. Setsuna offers to even the playing field by revealing her affair with Yashiro, but Sera declines. Setsuna keeps the offer open, and tells her that even if she isn't the best person, she'd stoop lower then she ever has for her daughter. Sera suddenly embraces Setsuna, telling her she just wants her to be here. Setsuna promises to stay for the rest of the competition, but will likely be called back out afterwards, which Sera accepts.
At the final show, Sera thanks the rest of STΔRLIVHT for the chance to make her dream come true. The group perform their chant one more time before going out to perform.
After the show, STΔRLIVHT returns to Producer's office to see the results. As the website refreshes, the results are revealed to have been a perfect tie, surprising the group. The group decide to celebrate this miraculous result.
Chapter 6 (TH)
The day before STΔRLIVHT's battle with Gaius, Producer finds the artificial Noise Beasts have all been shut down. Sera believes this is Gaius inviting them to settle things once and for all. With nothing standing in their way, the group agree to meet up tomorrow to bring him down, with Producer joining them.
After Sumire and Hakuno defeat Stornel, Gaius takes the NOISZ from him and uses it to fight against Sera and Grace. As Sera draws Gaius' attention, Producer fires the weapons in her chair, giving Sera an opening to seemingly finish him off. Suddenly, Producer warns the group he isn't dead, and Grace narrowly parries a black sword aimed at Sera. Gaius reappears from the smoke of the battle, having imprinted onto himself. Grace attempts to buy time for STΔRLIVHT to regain their energy to fight Gaius before Producer shouts for them to link with her, activating her NOISZ/RS. They link together, and Producer attempts to fight Gaius herself.
As Gaius defeats Producer, the pain from his last attack spreads to the rest of the group. As Grace struggles back to her feet, Sera tells Grace that, if they're going to die here, then Grace needs to use the Final Burst. To her shock, Grace refuses, having been told that doing so would erase her soul completely. She swears she'll keep her promise to Sera and defeat Gaius, and begins to deflect his attacks again. Ultimately, she is pierced by six black swords, and dies as Producer unleashes her own Final Burst on Gaius.
Grace suddenly awakens as a NOISZ Beast, to Sera's surprise. She helps Grace remove the swords she was pierced with, watching them each transform into the Binary Black Star. As Producer warns them that Gaius has been possessed by Alpha, the group decide to link together to Grace and Producer to help them fight, even though Grace's NOISZ Beast aura could damage them. They perform their chant one last time, with Producer joining them.
As Gaius is defeated, Producer congratulates the group on their victory, but warns them their battle is not yet over; in two years, Alpha will return and fake her death to get away from the hero who defeats her. To stop her once and for all, STΔRLIVHT will need to go into hiding and fake their deaths until she returns. They'll be placed into stasis to heal from Grace's NOISZ Beast aura and keep them in prime condition, though Grace offers to stay awake in case something happens. The group agree to fight Alpha, and they leave the building in an autocar taking them to a lab outside of town. Here, Sera informs her mother of what's happening, figuring she'd like the idea of her saving the world.
As STΔRLIVHT arrives at the stasis chamber, Sera suddenly declares she wants to have her wedding here, wanting to give Grace something to hold onto for the next two years. The group hold an impromptu wedding, with Sera and Grace manifesting wedding dresses with the NOISZ. Eventually, the moment ends, and the four are put to sleep for the next two years.
NOISZ Final
In Final Part 1, Sera is awakened with the rest of STΔRLIVHT. She and Grace immediately embrace each other silently.
