When they notice [[Karin]] in Remora's lab, they try to barge in. They fail, Remora greets them, and the two enter combat.

Remora was part of the team working on the N Project, which eventually developed [[the NOISZ]]. She worked alongside [[Stornel]], but their models for the prototype were at odds. Stornel believed that her model had unsolvable conceptual issues, but after some encouragement from [[Beyond Antiphon|Beyond]], he resigned himself to looking at her data. While reviewing the data with Stornel, [[Arietta Antiphon|Arietta]] noticed that the safety data appeared to be generated.

[[Gaius Antiphon]] confronted Remora and Stornel about the generated data. Both were hesitant to say anything, but Remora admitted to falsifying the data and that Stornel had no knowledge of this. Gaius, as retaliation, brought out a prototype NOISZ, the one that would eventually become [[The NOISZ#The Original NOISZ|the true NOISZ]]. He forced Stornel to test it. The device killed him within less than a minute of use. Remora watched helplessly. Gaius then threatened to sue her if she refused to complete the NOISZ.
 
When Beyond and Arietta were injured after opening the portal, Remora administered first aid. She was also the one to give Beyond and Arietta special black cloths that are designed to contain their [[The Void|void]] corruption.
 
After a string of failures in managing [[Antiphon]], Beyond was ridden with feelings of guilt and inadequacy. Remora assured her that these outcomes were not her fault. During this moment, Beyond decided to run the company better than her father and came up with the name "Beyond Antiphon."
