Stornel believed that her model had unsolvable conceptual issues, but after some encouragement from [[Beyond Antiphon|Beyond]], he resigned himself to looking at her data. While reviewing the data with Stornel, [[Arietta Antiphon|Arietta]] noticed that the safety data appeared to be generated.
 
[[Gaius Antiphon]] confronted Remora and Stornel about the generated data. Both were hesitant to say anything, but Remora admitted to falsifying the data and that Stornel had no knowledge of this. Gaius, as retaliation, brought out a prototype NOISZ, the one that would eventually become [[The NOISZ#The Original NOISZ|the true NOISZ]]. He forced Stornel to test it. The device killed him within less than a minute of use. Remora watched helplessly. Gaius then threatened to sue her if she refused to complete the NOISZ.
