A young NOISZ Beast who guides the player in re:||VERSE. A rather unlikely seeming ally after everything you've been through, but...
Will he help you take back everything you've lost...?[1]
Stornel is a lion-like NOISZ Beast who formerly worked as a researcher in Antiphon's R&D department. He died young in a lab incident. Although he was very prideful in life, to the point of being unpleasant to interact with, he dedicates himself to correcting his mistakes after his death. As a NOISZ Beast, he is single-mindedly focused on this mission.

History
Stornel was among the team of researchers responsible for working on the N Project, which would go on to develop the NOISZ. He struggled to get results as quickly as Gaius had hoped. Beyond asked him to make a progress report and look over Remora's model, to which he lashed out at her over.
When reviewing Remora's data, Arietta stopped by and noticed that the safety data looked generated. Although he was worried about the real data the falsification hid, Stornel kept quiet-the higher-ups wanted results, and he knew they wouldn't react well to the project stalling in development.
Gaius Antiphon confronted Remora and Stornel about the generated data. Both were hesitant to say anything, but Remora admitted to her wrongdoing. Gaius, as retaliation, brought out a prototype NOISZ, the one that would eventually become the true NOISZ. He forced Stornel to test it. The device killed him within less than a minute of use.
After his death, Stornel was reanimated into a NOISZ Beast to serve as Gaius' bodyguard.
