Story

2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT

While Yashiro's appearance is not specified in 2ECONDS TO STΔRLIVHT: My Heart's Reflection, he still appears in several scenes; most notably, he is very disapproving of Hakuno for coming out as transgender. Along with her mother, he kicks her out of the house; while not as angry as her mother, he still states he is disappointed in her, and from then on, his parentage of Shion became much more controlling.

Chapter 1

Yashiro gloats as he signs SUNRaiSE onto his label, Bakeneko Records, and agrees to provide Asuka and Hikari with a new centre for the group as part of the contract - his daughter Shion Nekoda.

Chapter 3

In Chapter 3.III, Yashiro attempts to visit Sera's mother Setsuna, but she blackmails Yashiro into headlining an opening night at one of her nightclubs, using the information that he cheated on his wife while she was pregnant with Shion. Sera enters the room shortly afterwards, and Yashiro leaves, panicked.

Chapter 5

In order for SUNRaiSE to gain a lead in the Clash of Twilight competition with STΔRLIVHT, Yashiro outs his daughter Hakuno as trans to the press. Shion, Hakuno and Sera speak out against it on stage in support of Hakuno, but her outing nonetheless tips the scales in SUNRaiSE's favour.

Chapter 5 (TH)

Like in False Timeline, Yashiro would out Hakuno to the press, though in True Heroes he would do so after Sera and Grace's proposal during one of their shows.

Chapter VS

Yashiro is attacked by Firebird in his apartment, surviving the encounter due to Hakuno's interference but leaving the apartment damaged. Shion stays with Hakuno and her aunt Heather during the initial fire, and with Hikari during the repairs. When the apartment is fixed, Yashiro interacts with Shion far less, being shaken by the events.

When the Clash of Twilight ends in a tie, SUNRaiSE breaks their contract with Yashiro with Setsuna's help, leaving Bakeneko Records. Shion also begins working towards taking back her profits from her idol career from Yashiro and moving away from him.

History

20 years ago, Yashiro wrote a genre-defining hit, cementing his status as a legendary musician. Since then, he has started a music label (Bakeneko Records).

While his wife was pregnant with Shion, Yashiro had a one-night stand with Setsuna Hoshikawa; this resulted in the later birth of a child, Sera.
