Forever My Diamond details Grace and Sera's last few days of middle school before graduation, and Sera struggles with the feelings she has for Grace. However, newspaper club president [[Yoko Hinamori]] spreads the rumour that Sera is dating friend and music club co-president [[Akira]], much to Grace's dismay.


Later on that day, Akira confesses to having feelings for Sera under the cherry blossom tree in the courtyard; however, she turns him down and confirms what he already knew - that she is in love with Grace. Under the blossom tree, Sera and Grace confess to each other, and kiss for the first time, becoming girlfriends.

    Generally thought of as an icy person because of her blunt words and emotionless face, but she's actually like this so that Grace can understand her easily.

    Has a surprising fondness for trashy romance novels. Cares about her team's well-being more than she lets on.[1]

    Sera Hoshikawa is the leader of the idol group STΔRLIVHT, elected narrowly by popular vote shortly after the group formed. Her relentless focus on creating a strong idol group can cause friction between the members, especially between her and the easygoing Hakuno. She does not do this because she looks down on them; she genuinely does want STΔRLIVHT to reach its full potential, though occasionally struggles with her role as leader.

    She has been part of an idol group with Hakuno, Grace and Sumire since high school, first starting as a school idol club[2], and then becoming a formal idol group after being scouted by Antiphon at a HI-LIVE performance[3]. She is also in a dedicated relationship with Grace, and has been for a year. She loves Grace dearly, but often worries about her and feels a need to protect her due to her shy and non-confrontational nature.

    Sera's lack of facial expressions is for Grace's sake; it is so Grace won't miss out on anything that would have otherwise been in facial cues, though Grace can still read her face easily.[4]

    She has a rivalry with Shion Nekoda, leader of idol group SUNRaiSE, though it's not actively hostile, instead motivating the both of them to soar higher in their pursuit of a view from the top. Sera also has a complicated relationship with her mother Setsuna, and the two are somewhat distant.

    History

    When she was younger, Sera believed herself a princess, and after becoming friends with her in grade school, Grace became her knight; in middle school, Sera ran the school's music club for several years running along with Grace and Akira.

    Sera is somewhat distant with her mother, though her mother was supportive of her coming out and admitting to being in a relationship with Grace.

    She attended Neo-Metro Music Institute with Grace, Hakuno and Sumire, where they formed STΔRLIVHT.
